I can’t justify £69.99 for this at launch. I platinumed the remaster literally a few months back, ground out the factions matches and everything. The game still holds up but I can’t buy it day one at that price.

I think they're going to sell it separately in an attempt to maximize profit. It's also possible that the remastered version is not complete.

The game never received an official price drop and it's still $39.99 on PSN. My guess is that they're going to sell it for $50 and offer a $10 upgrade for people who own the PS4 version.

I suspect they’re holding back a PS5 release of Part 2 until they want to port it to PC (which could be whenever really), or perhaps for a release alongside the upcoming multiplayer game.

The thing is we are in 2022/2023 almost and Elden Ring is a massive hit in sales and will win GotY. Sony has a potential Elden Ring in the backburner, even more profitable since all development costs already written off. Will have Nixxes with nothing to do after fall 2022 when the Miles Morales port is released... its a no brainer.

I’m probably going to get some grief over this, but the dude’s been cuck-i-fied. Look at his shoulders and pussified expression. He’s deflated, defeated. Some may think it’s a small thing, but his expression (which seems to be a generalized shift, not only in this cutscene) does affect the conveyance and sense of his character. He’s a hard, stoic man, and this doesn’t send that message.

If their intention is to convey his feelings, they did it perfectly in the OG (he closes his eyes and sighs deeply). This is just Druckman‘s ideology rearing its head to marginalize any physical indicators of sex because God knows, men having shoulders and muscles and women having tits and hips is just too much nowadays.

The original models were perfect as is, but if it’s the only aspect of Neil’s skewed worldview we have to endure, I’ll manage.

I would had stuck with the view Sony would only focus on remasters on giant selling games like LoU 1. So Bloodborne (being a game that didnt sell a ton) wouldnt be bothered.

However, they did a Demons Souls Remake. So anything is possible. According to google, DS on PS3 only sold 1M copies.

Agreed. The PS4 Pro version runs great on the PS5 and still looks outstanding. The good news is that if someone hasn't played the first one by now, the PS4 version is perfectly acceptable.

Chalice dungeon’s do drop but yes the campaign is mostly locked.

I last played on the pro so it’s possible that on ps5 the chalice dungeons are also locked 30 fps. I don’t think unpatched games get access to the additional 18 CUs but they do get access to the higher clocks. It’s why unpatched games like kzsf run at a locked 60 fps now.

Meanwhile Demon’s Souls was remade and is probably the most expensive remake ever to date. How many copies did DS sold?

TLOU2 was already updated for the PS5 free of charge. 60fps at 4K. Theres nothing mroe to add to it, they wont remake the game in a brand new engine which already looks great.

Not really. Native PS5 version of Uncharted 4 also runs at 1440p60. It’s an illusion to think they can have this engine run at 4K60 on the PS5.

The port makes a lot of sense for PC gamers. For PS5 gamers? Not so much imo. We don't know how much they changed though, maybe it is worth the price but I doubt it.
