Definitely agree it’s nowhere near the pace now.

Quite sad really, GoW was (in my opinion) the coolest console franchise going and it’s just stagnated into nothingness. I barely got past the tutorial level in 4.

But I think people are forgetting how big a title it was. Certainly felt like the title that defined the 360 generation.

I mean...Microsoft has somehow ruined most of their older franchises...Gears of War, Halo, Fable. The one exception is still Forza. Every time one comes out i'm always jealous i can't play it, lmao.

People should had known from Horizon ZD on PC, it's not like Sony is going to release one game on PC and never again. It's obvious the plan was to do lots. Sony buying Nixxes and making a PS for PC branding studio made it even more obvious even though when those things happened all Sony had was Horizon and maybe Days Gone. They wouldnt be going through all that if those two games were all thats going to be made.

A remake for a game that sold over 20M copies is always going to have a positive response. Like it or not TLOU is one of PlayStation's biggest gaming events ever. The PC version + tv show, Factions and the TLOU2 remaster that's going to happen sooner or later are going to only elevate this IP.

Sony doesn't want people playing a PS3 game once the TV show debuts. It only makes sense.

Just as it makes sense for Star Trek to make 5 TV shows to bleed the fans.

It makes sense, but it's oversaturation and bloat.

It should basically be like The Division. A huge, explorable open world with a plethora of weapons, crafting, missions, co-op, pvp, raids. It’s an IP that could be *the* game for MS.

It's objectively a remake. Remaster is literally just like a resolution boost. Some remakes have more differences than others though.

Not really. I'm sure there will be a significant number who switch or buy a PS5 as a second console, having never owned a PS3/4.

There's also a whole new generation of younger gamers where the PS5 is their first console.

I'm not sure. Sony seems to be making a concentrated effort to keep their games up in price this generation, similar to Nintendo.

There have been periodic sales, but nothing extreme and most PS5 exclusives are still at or near original MSRP almost two years later.

I don't know, man. "Reproduced" could mean the dialogue has been re-recorded. You could be right, but as far as I can see, they haven't confirmed the details of the production yet.

Also Naughty Dog made a misleading trailer for the second game purposely. The one where they changed the character models. They could be misleading again. Time will tell.
