The game count is embarrassingly small compared to the PlayStation game count people will be playing via emulators on their XsS/X. And the lack of disc support - even to transfer via the PC App - is so tight fisted and mean, but at least Tekken 2 is there day 1.

When I'm playing Tekken 2 on Dualsense I'll probably forget how lacking the BC is on PS5, better start than expected though, but thousands of games and disc support still to go.

This is just "some of the games."

They explicitly state the full list will be released when it opens in your region.

There will be well over 700 like PSNow has currently.

I voted no, expected the worst due to how they've handled this in the past, quite surprised at the announcement, now the question becomes WHICH versions do they honor, they sold PS2 classics on both PS3 and PS4 and they didn't transfer, so which ones will be honored here?

I thought it was going to be 100% streaming, so that's pretty great they actually delivered this through emulation for PS1/2/P.

PS3 as streaming was the obvious solution though. Makes the console still worth owning.

I mean...there's rumors they will allow us to buy those games as well separately. I've seen that somewhere.

If that's true i'm not even sure if it's legal to sell the same product twice to the same people...with the same account. Has that ever happened?

But then again...if they are new SKUs (which i'm sure they will) they will probably get away with it. I still have access to my old PS3 history and everything i bought back then so...i'm sure they could do it.
Sometimes I'm not 100% dumb apparently.

I didn't think they would, glad to see i was wrong though! This is the way it should be :) Even resolution & fps improvements for some games (hopefully will see more work here) so i'm happy. Nice!
