Game Pass can exist on any hardware platform.
If the platform holder doesn't want that, it's his problem.
How do you know what are the rules? If Microsoft gives the platform holder let's say 5% from every sub, is it platform holder's fault to reject that?
Gamepass was his idea, and he’s also behind a big push for accessibility in gaming.
Accesibility argument is overexaggerated. Previously, some of the Bethesda and Activision titles were already available on PS Now. There was also nothing stopping them to be on Stadia/Luna/GF Now so you could play them on mobile (I'm too lazy to check if they were there, but they could). Now after MS took over it's only xCloud. It's limiting player's choice, not the other way around.
Besides, please don't try to convince me I could stream Call of Duty or Overwatch. I'm forced to buy either PC or console for those games.
