So no release date for this. This better be the latest a June release and Sony better have a secret PS5 only game releasing Q3/Q4. If not that means PS5 won't have a first party exclusive until Spiderman 2 in 2023 which is honestly dissapointing.

I suspect this will get delayed until Fall as the big 2022 game since Horizon and GT7 is in the Spring

I am not counting on any secret fall 2022 games. Maybe the rumored Factions

I wasn't expecting any better, 2022 sounded crossgen as fuck since the beginning and there it is. But it is not just that, those roughly 10tf of PS5 sounded a joke since the presentation and so does this fantomatic "next gen". How can you even think to push 4k 60fps and Ray tracing and surpassing by far the geometry of the previous gen. The only true next gen thing so far is the unreal engine 5 tech demo and I fear now it will remain so, just a tech demo

I was also slightly disappointed by that. Most god myths always put them on pedestals but that was never the case with nordic myths where the gods were basically just dumb drunkards who would hit on your girlfriend.

But God of War already looked amazing, and God of War: Ragnarok still looks better than 99% of next-gen games that have been revealed.

We're spoiled just because it's SSM and we know they could do better if they didnt need to be shackled to PS4.

it feels very lazy compared to horizon. No upgrades to character models. No increase in foliage density, level of detail or water physics. I was criticizing GG of not going all out but at least it looks like a significant leap over the original. Gow looks literally identical. No leap whatsoever.

At least have ray tracing or better character models like Spiderman miles did. SSM is a top tier studio. It's shocking how similar it looks to a 4 year old game.

I think you'll definitely see a MASSIVE difference visually between both versions, and the PS5 version will look 10x better than the Avatar footage we saw or whatever game's coming out next year, remember what @HeisenbergFX4 said. There's a reason why I'm most hyped about GoW being shown off than anything else Sony has in store, Sony Santa Monica's about to graphically SET THE BAR for everyone with the PS5. Just 6 more days...

At 1080p 30fps something pretty close would be possible if anyone could afford to pack a feature length game with that level of asset throughout. At 60FPS 1600p, 1800p, 4K, not a chance in hell.

Saw this in 4K and it's absolutely stunning. Gameplay seems to be on point as well.

It looks awesome but why do people not see that we expected more than a clean PS4 game? There is a rational middle ground of being excited for it but also expecting more from the PS5 sequel, isn't there?

It does look identical to the PS4 game buy this isn't coming out next year so I expect them to improve this a lot.
