But the 2 showcases last year were cool, given they were just streams instead of in person shows.
Sony's old E3 shows in like 2015, 2016, 2017... those were great.

No one said they were perfect. State of Plays can be boring (Horizon's was great, Ratchet was great though...)
Showcase events are absolutely fine. PS5 reveal had tons of cool marketing teasers throughout and kept to the point mostly without a lot of long dragged out stuff.

MIB doesn't really mean anything to me but if there is a MIB game as part of the show me not caring about the franchise doesn't really affect the potential quality of the game although it may gain a few extra sales from people who are into that stuff. I'm not sure I've ever really been the target audience for anything to do with MIB though.
I suppose there's always the opportunity to return to something like this if they wanted to.

Something just struck me, an truly insane Thought! Imagine they announce Star Citizen for PS5. Thats what i would call "Mindblowing" - the Game seems perfect for that and could even leverage PS5s I/O System.
