Good job Jim
According to an article published by Wired where they spoke with Hermen Hulst, Sony has more than 25 first-party titles in development for PlayStation 5,
and nearly half of them are entirely new IPs originating from different studios from different regions.
Those are ranging from AAA big budget games to Indie titles. Yes, the output for this generation from PlayStation is likely to be crazy.
Hermen Hulst, Guerrilla cofounder whom Jim Ryan tapped to lead PlayStation Studios in 2019:
"The group has more than 25 titles in development for the PS5 [...] nearly half of which are entirely new IP.
There’s an incredible amount of variety originating from different regions, big, small, different genres.”
We know that Sucker Punch might be working on a Multiplayer Game, and Bend Studio is already working on a game that will feature Open-World Elements along with Vehicles. Sony’s XDev team is working on their own game this time as well.
Not to mention there are still many already announced titles that we haven’t gotten much information about, such as Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok.
Hopefully, we do get some information about these titles soon, and Sony will announce some new games as well.
You can expect some of these games to be announced in the next 2 months at some sort of State of Play event since they usually happen around e3 time.

What’s happening with Sony’s latest console, now that it’s been out for six months? Supply issues aside, it’s proving to be much more than a simple evolution.
