Completionist tip of the day:

You might think survey trophies (toughest ones to get) for B4 and B5 are glitched running those biomes in Act 3, your PS5 activity card will show you missing scout logs while in the codex you'll see you have them all, no gaps in the list.
That is not the case - two more appear at the end of the list. They're also not random - last log of B5 always spawns in the "shop" after the final (6th) house sequence, the very last one next to Helios in B4 after the true ending.

Just finished a post game run through biomes 1-3. I wrecked everything in my path. Still, those pesky flying drones gave me a hard time on biome 3.

I didn’t come across any sun shards though 🤔
Really? Did you check every room?

I got the first 5 on my first time through. It took three tries on 6, but I think that's just because I died there twice before getting the shard.

Have you seen all the house cutscenes? The house should say "Dark" when you go by it.

Do we know what it does? Can you still heal at the ship?
Just once and it doesn't heal all that much.

Patch Notes:

  • Multiple stability fixes addressing rare crashes/hangs.
  • Fixed issue with pre-order suits occasionally blocking item collection and door opening.
  • Fixed incorrect healing behavior when resting in Helios.
  • Fixed issues with certain custom controller mappings.
  • Numerous minor fixes and improvements.

Making the game harder while at it, lol.

I see Act 3 as a BS, low effort extension of the game. Had the intention to give it a try and after wiping out biome 1 and all rooms and the boss while at it looking for that sunface artifact then that's the moment I'm done with the game, to later know:"Oh, you need to visit the house in act 4 1-2 times more before doing so". Well, my interest 90% fades away after completing what's supposed to be the main campaign, so dropped the game and playing Wreckfest and will eventually delete the game.

You said that you finish your games fast and that you mostly have no intention to replay them. That's fine.

I for one have the feeling that even after i (maybe) obtain the platinum won't feel satisfied and keep playing.

I really hope they will make some DLC.

I finally got through biome 5. What a rush. The key for me after a dozen deaths? The shotgun. Yes the same shotgun that everyone likes to shit on. I had a shotgun with explosive bullets, narrow grouping, and a bit of extra damage and it was able to two to three shot the rocket kamikaze guys, take out then tentacle dogs quickly, but most importantly it was able to stagger and do severe damage to the three frozen severed dudes in the gold gate room.

Shotgun is life, and severely under appreciated. Don’t sleep on it.

I'm down for DLC, that might make me finish the cheap Act 3 while at it. Like with Fenyx I usually clean out the main game before moving to the next DLC.

Also Act 3 is just repetition, that's why I simply ignored it. If I don't read what's written here won't even know what is there anyway. No clues in the game and that's a major flaw in my book. Hope you enjoy it, I'm just more like a "serial" gamer who buys new games constantly "when good games available".

I need to accept the fact I'm terrible at this game.

Played around 2 hours, still trapped in the first level. My best run got interrupted by a room with a giant, charging behemoth and one of those tree motherfuckers.

Also, I don't know how to evade the projectiles from the doggos that send red orbs in a line to me.

That room is the Golden Gate! Horde mode. If you kill all of them, that's only 1 wave. I can wipe them out now much easily, but even a veteran can get cornered and fucked there as the enemies you encounter are randomized. Rewards are good but when you are in a long run with no lives to spare or medkits it's a major gamble.

The doggos you just sprint, don't just run! Also changing your direction and dashing to the other direction helps. You can kill it in 3-4 melee hits afterwards.

Dodge is pretty much invincible
Hold circle to dash longer.

Another tip. Dont stop to aim.ads slows you down. Use the full arena. Run as much you can

I can stress enough to explore 100% every biome before fighting the boss.

Do that and you will win

I really disagree with Rotgland lobber being that bad. I only made it through Biome 3 thanks to it yesterday, and died at Nemesis when i switched because I thought it would be kinda bad against Nemesis

Yep. I hip-fire 99% of the time. I also mapped L1 to jump, R1 to dash, and turned on auto-sprint.

I'm finding that almost all of the guns can be OP with the right perks and playstyle. I've seen a lot of people put the Rotgland at the top, for example.

Yup, you have to do it.

The plus is there no boss for B4. Just getting the three keys.

If you have the gun that leaves the red laser things all over the arena, it's not too bad. Just shoot those everywhere and run and grapple around letting the enemies kill themselves.

It took me over 6 hours to beat biome 1 the first time, it's part of the course. There is a lot to the game except combat, like keeping track of what is available in the random room set, and in what order to use or pick things up, controlling your obolite budget... It gets much easier the deeper you go 'cause you'll be making better builds.

And those severed mini bosses are probably the most pain in the ass enemies in the game.
Yeah. Whenever I thought I had their pattern they would change up on me. I feel like a few times they’d do that animation where they were about to warp and they’d shoot instead or long jump lunge. I had 2 in a lockdown room plus a turret and that ape looking enemy both with shields I needed to break. That was a tough one.
Short bio:
You can tell he’s influenced by tangerine dream and why mann would want to use him. Black hat is a very underrated movie especially the directors cut.
best to worst weapons
I favor the driver or a carbine

What bartski said. Don’t get caught up on time. Even after you’re done you’ll still want to keep playing most likely. The gameplay is addictive. Just enjoy it.

Man, running out of puff trying to beat the first map. The boss licked me twice, and I’m not sure I have it in me to go again today. I did activate the big sarcophagus just now, wonder what that does.

Melee him early. First phase and a few hits into the second and then just stay away and run and shoot for the rest and 3rd phase. There’s a melee upgrade I don’t remember if it was available that early but it’s pretty powerful either way.
The Wolverine tomb is a respawn with all items.

Oh great, think I activated it with fuck all gunpower. Am I screwed?

I don’t have a melee weapon, square button does nothing.

That was it. I was missing a house cutscene. Now I’m finding the shards.

Three shards collected. Now onto the next three.

I'm also close to unlocking everything the monolith has to offer.
But i miss a lot of the cubes.

There is still a decent amount of things to discover.

That worked well when I found a room with 8 of those flying bats... I should've backed out lol!

melee them. sometimes you can kill 3 just with one hit

also avoid those stars rooms until you reaxh biome 2. those are like horde mode. the rewards are good but is not worth it at that stage
