I keep seeing a few added to the scalper section undercutting each other by a dollar or so.

There were 30 of them 10 minutes ago, now there is 33. Not sure if we missed it, lol.

Slept in until now and was sure I had missed the drop. Well, either I got lucky or there's no drop.

Amazon is the only retailer who ships to my freight forwarder so I have to get it with them. Today IS the day, damn it!

honestly. Switch is amazing. Graphics are overhyped. If it wasn't for my ps4 being on its death bed and having 200 some games in the backlog I wouldn't even ponder the ps5. That backwards compatibility is what i am after. Not replacing my dying ps4 with another ps4 that still cost 399 (why the f do they still charge this much, ps3 was under $200 when ps4 launched).

I have had the switch since Dec. 2018. I have over 100 games for it due to tons of 3rd party eshop sales. A 400gb and 256gb sd card full of games. 25+ physical carts.

Just this last month bought the following:

Braverly Default 2 (jrpg exclusive)
Mario Maker 2 (Exclusive on sale for 1/2 off, a rarity for 1st party which is why i picked it up).
Mario 3d World (exclusive)
No More Heroes (remaster of wii game - $20 fun time)
Battle Brothers (PC port of a hidden gem tactics rpg. Awesome, also switch is only console it's on)
Kingdom of amalur re-reckoning (Amazing game, great port, playing this on the go is so good!!!)
Monster Hunter Rise (exclusive, comes out next week).

5 of those games just released. Name me a game that just came out this last month on ps5/xbx ?

So yeah, Id highly recommend the switch.
If you are anything like me and love western and japanese rpgs than switch is off the charts in greatness.
So many exclusives, indies, pc ports, and quirky games you won't find anywhere else.
First nintendo console worthy of my purchase since SNES in 1992 (outside of the ds/3ds).

Id' love to get a ps5 but not if it means getting some scumbag douche scalper rich. I'll wait.

yeah, I usually game on ps, but ive had nintendo consoles in the past and rpg's are my fav genre. I have been holding out to get a ps5, but the value is so tremendous on switch its getting harder and harder to justify not just walking into a store and getting on and a few games. then I can get a ps5 when horizon 2 and GOW Ragnarok are out.

Its amazon, if it wasn't for prime shipping i wouldn't use them at all.
This is a company that is making commie china rich, while financing a propaganda us newspaper/website.
It sells their inferior products that are made with nearly slave labor.
Bezos has no problem letting scalpers make money or have sellers sell counterfeit goods.

Go try buying an sd card, you have a chance of getting a fake. It happened to me and I had to return it. Was a sandisk 400gb card which gave me a low read speed on test, here it turned out to really be a 32gb card with a slow read/write, basically a cheap knockoff with a label that was slightly off.
Same with sneakers, or other products. They let anyone sell you fake shit, without a care, as they get their cut.

Bottom line none of these retailers care as they get the cash anyway. It will take Sony / MS to put in guidelines for selling their consoles and they could do it. No ps5 unless you only sell to one per cc/account.
They don't care either, they get paid either way. Same thing with nvidia and its "shortage". All these companies pushing this crap as they rake in the bucks and virtual signal their stupid wokeness.

Call me when I can go into a brick and mortar store and walk out with a PS5.

I don’t even bother trying anymore , not wasting my valuable time on the chase and getting nothing.
Willing to wait years for a Slim model anyway , the regular PS5 wouldn’t fit in my entertainment center .
Not only that I’m not buying off any scalpers they can go fuck thmeselves.

I did all this following twitter accounts and checking discords etc to get a RTX 3080 which I did eventually get for MSRP.

I cant be assed to do that again for a PS5. When I can log into amazon at a random date/time and click buy is when i will buy one.

Walmart is getting a restock at 3:00 pm ET today. it says so on the listing page on walmart.com so this one is 100 percent not bullshit.

Walmart can take a long time to get them out. It's still worth securing in case nothing else comes through. Ive seen WM take a month or more. ATC links are "add to cart"

I would go for this but still try the other drops. PSDIRECT, TARGET, AMAZON, BB are the ones. If you get it through these you'll have it in two days. BB one week.

On the Fnac online store you can add a PS5 to your alerts, they will email you when thers a PS5 in stock. Thats how i managed to get the Dualsense charging station as it was also soldout.

You can also follow Worten twitter account as they usually tell there when they are about to put more consoles on stock.

It's supposedly a big WM drop. Just got a tweet saying two hours. It will be a shitshow the whole time.

Constantly hitting add to cart and trying to checkout and you need your info saved because there will be no time.

I personally think Amazon will still happen today, but if not than within 48 hours. They probably got wind of this getting out and delayed.

Set up your Twitter notifications and you font have to watch anything. Just set it and forget it.
