Sure. It's always going to depend on their intention. But there's better ways of saying "only on Xbox", "still on PlayStation" and "we haven't decided yet".Or a good one.
Some keeps the conversation going at the expense of turning people away from the ecosystem short term and causing further upset later on.
Unless they just hope people get used to the idea of Microsoft owning Bethesda and don't kick off so much later on. Wimpy and unlikely, but I've seen worse ideas make it to publication.
