Let's see how it turns out
It is funny because the key discussion on the original thread was how the performance was better because the low polygon models and now it is spin like just the "bug" is fixed.
They would have still finished the game. But perhaps not as quicklySo what would have happened had DF never mentioned it and it was never viewed by 600,000 people?
LOL behave, RikyGood news, did they fix the framerate tanking in 120hz mode on PS5?
I heard it was because X was a server
You're*Your almost getting up to a full sentence.
Series X is a server design in its GPU and CPU architecture, thats why you are in this thread discussing a 36 CU vs a 52 CU GPU. Go figure.
Anyway, I am sure game will all be patched and tuned in the end, shame we have to wait months after release.
Again, is there any evidence of that claim? AFAIK nobody has provided any evidence that's true
The oppositeMan it's going to be a difficult 7 years for you
The opposite
I just bought this game yesterday, PSN Holiday sale. Also didnt realize The Pathless was already out.100+ posts about a patch for a shit game that no one would have otherwise cared about and we don’t even have performance numbers yet either LOL.
Got to admit this thread is hilarious now the xbox fans think they've achieved something worth crowing about.
How's the resolution in the modes they haven't fixed? The lod distance? The reduced af?
How's is the performance in 120hz mode. Stable 120hz and mostly 1080p like the ps5 version?
Oh yeah you don't know as you all have vrr enabled so you cannot see any framerate drops lol
Let's hope someone jumps on this quick eg vg tech before anyone gets to invested in this narrative.
Quite honestly, you are touting conspiracy theories that the devs have purposely gimped the ps5 version. Which is nothing but trolling and should be fucking grounds for being banned. It is absolutely fucking pathetic. But I was told in this thread that I was claiming they harmed the performance in both modes that runs fine on PS5 without evidence lol
Wut? You makes no sense.Quite honestly, you are touting conspiracy theories that the devs have purposely gimped the ps5 version. Which is nothing but trolling and should be fucking grounds for being banned. It is absolutely fucking pathetic.
What more than likely happened was their tinkering introduced a bug which will be rectified.
Get a grip ffs. That is also to the people who are giving you thumbs up too
Wut? You makes no sense.
Where I said the my harmed the PS5 version purposely?
Yeap... Dark said about https://www.neogaf.com/threads/the-...dware-is-dumb.1583267/#post-261678991[/MEDIA]
I mean it is very weird.
The point is... you have the PS5 version running atsolidclose to 60fps before the patch and now it is suffering with frame rate drops after the patch... and Dark says it will be sorted out in time... it is really weird because it was not a issue to be sorted until few days ago.
Both my post are correct even when some tried to deny it... so?One of your posts from this thread
The DiRT 5 Update Shows Exactly Why Making Outlandish Conclusions Of Hardware Is Dumb
So the DiRT 5 team made the fix to the Series X version of the game that caused a LOD bug which has been very clearly highlighted multiple times. And yes, "bug" is exactly what it was, which is something a few were trying to explain, but a lot more were not willing to do. However, the DiRT 5...www.neogaf.com
Then post number 22 in the other thread
Go to post number 32 in the other threadBoth my post are correct even when some tried to deny it... so?
Again where I said they harmed the PS5 version purposely?
Look at the icon lolGo to post number 32 in the other thread
Ok. I must have misunderstood.....Look at the icon lol
Seems like sarcasm is hard for you
BTW super true even more now "But every time you ask about performance you receive useless quotes calling you fanboy... seems like the "performance" word become taboo here."
Again where I said they harmed the PS5 version purposely?
I mean tons of MS fanboy at the start of the generation have dropped the balls how the series X would have devasted the ps5 in multipiat; now see so many cry to the joy and troll because finally Dirt 5 runs on pair to the ps5 it's definitely something else, but ok.Must be related to the TF of the PS5 and the 36 CUs.

i was happy with patch cuz no more crashes on ps5, but then stuttering hopped in so gona wait next patchLove the trend of games with Xbox marketing deals releasing worse on it but after a magical patch they also make them run worse on PS5 for no reason at all.
How was it FUD when it was a real problem?
VRR doesn't fix it, it hides it so it's not as jarring. if it fixed it, it would magically add frames to make it 120fps.It was the PS5 version that had framerate issues in 120hz mode, check the DF comparison. No VRR to fix it though
FUD stands for Fear Uncertainty Doubt. Comments were suggesting it was an issue with Xbox Series X hardware, and not a bug that could be fixed with an update, unlike what we saw with Xbox One vs PS4 where nothing could fix the hardware deficiency.
It was a software bug, nothing more.
Oh so this is the new thing blame other people for noticing a problem that was happening on Xbox Series X & act like they was spreading FUD.
They found a way around it but it was a problem with the way Xbox Series S/X run the code. You learn what the problem is then you optimize the code so that you no longer have the problem.
And how do you know nothing has been compromised in performance? Seems weird to me it runs the same with better graphic setting without affect the res or the fps in any manner.I'm speaking of the few that were suggesting it was hardware related issue and that it could not be addressed with a software fix without compromising framerate or resolution.

A bug is when the system is executing the code just fine but the code is actually doing something other than what is intended. Code can be wrong.Oh so this is the new thing blame other people for noticing a problem that was happening on Xbox Series X & act like they was spreading FUD.

I'm not talking about the poligons bug. You seems ignore game runs at worse graphic setting in 120.fps mode on series X and in fact it runs smoother to the ps5 there. Now they have fixed it, doubt it runs exactly the same as before the patch. Not wierd at all since the PS5 was doing it just fine and they're about the same. No real reason why polygons should drop, this is not Xbox 360 lol.

I was more referring to the series x holding 1080p resolution most of the time like the PS5 now it's running with PS5 levels of details.
All of this is unverified, the only thing you know is it's now got settings similar to PS5, you have no idea how it actually performs at this point.
Imagine if you will, it rarely gets above 110 fps, and dips down to 70 when things get hairy, how would you feel about it then?
Still performing worse than PS5, but looks similar. A "win" for xbox? Almost parity with PS5, weak not even "full RDNA 2" based console, is now classed as a win?
Oh how your standards have dropped since reality kicked in.
The hell of stupid comparison is that. It's a next generation fix vs an old generation unlocked fps coding ported in a more powerful machine. Think it won't affect in any manner the whole performance it's pure ignorance.Seems weird ?? Is this a real post ? CDPR just doubled the performance on last gen consoles with a hotfix ten days after release without dialing back the settings. Yet after waiting 6 weeks codemasters have had to dial everything back.
I’m sure that you just forgot the sarcasm bit right ?

Game has fps performance far from flawless on both machine. Now you said in a bunch of weeks it runs the same at 120 FPS with better graphic setting without touch the dynamic resolution or affect the FPS in some way. Can I say I'm a bit skeptical about it?Dirt 5 is last gen running a performance patch fucking lol. The game doesn’t even look that great either. Forza horizon running on a performance patch destroys dirt at 60hz. You could bet serious money with certainty that if it had a 120hz mode, it would annihilate dirt also.
I also never mentioned the next gen consoles and specifically stated the last gen consoles.
So you’re not joking. Fucking lol

And? Do you know how optimization works? You think a game with lower setting runs the same with higher setting just because the hardware is not pushed enough early? The game was rushed to launch and obviously came in hot.... A lot hotter on the XsX than the PS5. They have spent the last 6 weeks working on it. You can also bet that they will be still "patching" this in Jan and Feb next year.
GTFO. So are saying with a straight fact the Dirt 5 maxed the XsX? Yes or no?And? Do you know how optimization works? You think a game with lower setting runs the same with higher setting just because the hardware is not pushed enough before?
Give him time... the results will come and it will be proved one or other side. And? Do you know how optimization works? You think a game with lower setting runs the same with higher setting just because the hardware is not pushed enough early?
