Maybe the reason it's not being fully utilized is because the bottleneck is somewhere else? System Ram perhaps? Or the slower clock, time will tell.

I don't understand what kinda of miracles they expect in the next years . Sure things will improve but series X has extremely compromised bandwidth/RAM setup. Just imagine a pc with a total of 560 GBs available for CPU and GPU. Not seems exactly a spectacle for performance and I never heard of particular custom solutions inside the series X as infinity cache to turn around to such limit. Imagines even to have to push 52 CUs . I don't know, not seems fit better for the multiplat development.

i suspect the only way for xbox to change this situation is wait for the mid fresh recycle, maybe a 16 or 20 tflop solution but then again all Sony needs to do is match that and boom its a hard beat down all over again.
The best thing for xbox fanatics is just to accept that ps5 is better, move on and just play games.

Go look at how many CU are in any PC or console GPU shader array for gaming, its less than or = 10 CU except XSX and I believe Navi14 had 12 ...
Why do you think Cu on die are either 20, 40, 60 or 80 with some disabled, shader arrays of 10.

In assassin's creed valhalla is the Xbox version that has a stuttering camera. I believe is a bug in both cases.

Not as many as Series X, apparently. I mean, Dirt 5 has a "bug" where it changed the carefully-chosen graphics settings to low
It should be a simple tweak to change low settings to high (as they are on PS5), but it's been weeks and we still haven't seen that magic "patch" yet

Just google it. MS constantly said this. They did active advertising with this claim, but changed it a few days or weeks ago, when they recognized that the XSX is constantly getting outperformed by the PS5.

Its pathetic, would I or others have issues about calling Sony out had they promised and not deliverered, well can only speak for me but I wouldn't hold back, if they messed up you call it out, otherwise were just blind zombies who companies can take advantage of.
But on hardware they didn't mess up as such, although seems some compromises, just seem to have done things the normal way, in a normal gen the higher tf console may have outperform a lesser one, but there's so many factors and breakthroughs sony made and Microsoft will have known, just like they knew and told df about their sustained clocks and no downclocking before th Road to ps5.
They will have now about ps5 but they went and bragged about power anyway and now its biting them hard is the ass.
Also the no games at launch is another failure.

I remember some entusiast XBox fans claiming on youtube videos that XSS would outperform PS5 graphics fidelity, details, textures, geometry, etc but at a lower RES. The brutal reality is, PS5 is almost always outperforming the Big brother XSX, and not even by a small margin. I might understand the anger, the disappointment, the strong depression of these individuals, but unfortunately their childish behavior does nothing but make them even more ridiculous and embarrassing.
Phil Spencer is in part responsible for this, and every time I see his face I start laughing, exactly like when I hear the word "Muh Tool".

that said ps5 dropping down to 1280p is pretty shit too. This kind of average looking game should run at 4k 60 fps locked. do we know how the 2070 and 2080 cards perform in this game? I want to know if the PS5 is outperforming the 9 tflops 2070 or 10.5 tflops 2070 super before im too impressed. Right now, it seems like the xsx is severely underperforming.
i would love to see where the bottleneck is on the xsx because the 560 gbps vram is higher than the 5700xt vram of 448 gbps and zen 2 CPUs perform really well despite having a non unified L3 cache that we are assuming is whats giving the ps5 this advantage.

Its not surprising to me that the PS5 holds its own, but that it constantly comes out as the winner does. However, I think the PS5 is very balanced across the board. Its just a very well thought out architecture. MS might've focused on GPU power too much. Thats the idea i'm currently getting.
The differences are small in the end, but people predicted the PS5 to perform considerably worse. Even DF said PS5 punched above its weight, lol. I think PS5 is more like Apple perhaps, looking purely at specs they aren't at the top but their performance and snappyness mostly is.
