For the nth time. How you treat people when you're on top, will greatly determine how they treat you when you aren't or when you're in an unfavorable position.
This is human nature. Sure, it would be great if people could all get along, I advocate for that. But we've actually had tons of people make excuses and arguments for being abrasive and impolite. Until the culture is one of actually being kind to one another, this is what is going to happen. Because why would anyone try to be kind to you when your past actions have shown that when the shoe is on the other foot you wouldn't do the same for them?
This isn't to say that I believe that an eye for an eye doesn't make the whole world blind. It does. I just don't think there are enough people who actually think that's a bad thing. However, there is definitely something to be said for those who take the first step of humility and do the right thing. I do believe this is how real change happens. Just doesn't seem like people care enough as I always hear the term, "it's just games bro." brought up as if it gives people a license to be less mature in this area.

I love seeing this shit. As someone who bought all consoles and was still primarily a PC gamer espousing how Sony was going down a shitty path for the better part of the last 2 years and everyone calling me a Xbot or whatever stupid bullshit they'd say. Now that the initial shock has worn off Microsoft is still in a terrible position launch wise. I get that they are playing the long game here, so that their service in 2-3 years will be bolstered by some new games out of Bethesda but as a launch proposition for new customers come November the line up is abysmal.

What do you mean OP? All I’ve seen mostly are PlayStation fans questioning whether Phil is a liar like most corporate types are or if they are really gonna bring next gen TES, Fallout, Doom etc to PS5.

I have been a PlayStation guy since '95. Hardcore. Clothes. 20th Anniversary PS4. 500 Million Edition PS4 Pro. Hardcore. (I have owned all Xbox's as well but currently do not own any - use a PC instead).
For me - this is the least exciting launch they've ever done. They seem to wake up every couple of months to try and sell this thing and then go back to their naps. Perhaps you can blame marketing or perhaps their hands were tied by "higher-ups" ... but this is just 'blah'. The sales advantage is likely going to belong to whomever can manufacture more consoles.
But AFTER that - do you believe next year there are going to be Series X consoles just sitting on the shelf while PS5's are never in stock ? - I severely doubt it.
Game Pass. Backward Compatibility. Studio Acquisitions. Superior GPU. This all matters. This isn't the 2013 "both hands tied behind their back" Microsoft that could have been beaten blindfolded. This is a different animal.
Sony is not going to run away with this generation so they better stop acting like they will win by default.

Is Bethesda really that huge of a get? Maybe back during the Fallout 3 and New Vegas days but the only good game they've come out with in recent years is Doom and Doom Eternal and in my opinion Evil Within 2 which I was a big fan of. I'm not looking forward to Elder Scrolls 6 or Star Field at all if they are going to continue using gamebryo or whatever their old engine is called.

2. Game Pass which is an incredible Value for people who can't afford buying Video Games for $70.00 Dollars for their Kids, or for Gamers who have disabilities and are now able to try out more games to find out which game they can play, Blind people for instance actually need to purchase a game and need to play it first to know if they are able to play it, and this takes the fear away from them to spend $70.00 Dollars on a game they can't play in the end. And I could write more examples why Game Pass is an awesome Value!!!
3. Free upgrades to XBox Series X & S Versions from XBox One Versions.
4. Most powerful Console and most affordable Console to experience next gen games.
5. xCloud which let's you play all their games on platforms like Mobile Phones or Tablets.
All of this takes alot of time and resources!!! What Microsoft has done or is working on for the last years for their Community and their XBox Fans and Customers is absolutely nothing else than awesome in my opinion. And they deserve nothing else than praise for this, even from PlayStation Fans.

One thing I've observed is some of these threads have the dumbest takes ever, it's as if people have nothing to do so they make them for the sake of it.
If I'm honest even though there's fanboyism on both sides the Xbox Fans that stick out more. I don't know if it's the recent acquisitions that lit a fire under them but it's fucken annoying reading these some of these threads.
Now that being said I wasn't around before for this supposed 7 years of Sony tyranny, so if that's the case I kinda get it, but does that mean its just gonna be revenge season and costant high school bickering forever?
