I don't really care about PC gaming myself, and I'm already pretty satisfied with PS5's offering. I can afford 3090Ti and even gift my 1 year old pc to someone and build a new one from the ground up if I'm a PC enthusiast. I try to avoid that generally as I've spent a fortune on car mods before without necessary benefits.
PC's won't have great games anyway, I can't see something I can't play on PS5 and deserves my money, at least from a personal preference. It's not about money, personally, I've been a happy Sony consoler since 1997. I might consider PC gaming if there is no PS5 Pro and PCIe 5.0 is released (will build a new PC for video editing and rendering performance first and foremost, PC gaming as a side dish).
Many here could afford a good PC, but what's the point if it's full of bottlenecks and no specialized hardware and yet you pay a fortune to build one? I mean something around $2000-2500 at the very bottom just to get close to next gen consoles. PC motherboards are so fucked up that if you put 2x NVMe m.2 the second one draws 25% of main GPU power, and the SLI/Crossfire are barely a 25% over 1 single GPU.
Give me PS5 with a great 4K HDR TV (probably getting 65" Sony XH90 just for HDMI 2.1) and I'm happy with my gaming.
