You know what will be funny, if after all this 9.2TF boogaloo, PS is actually 15TF or more and Scarlett is 9.2TF......Now that would be a Neogaf "Clash of the Titan" moment, if I've ever anticipated one...….Would be absolute "Gunsmoke", relative to developments....

Yours is going to be like sipping the Dead Sea.

So now everyone else is talking about Konami and RE8? Carry on I don’t know anything /s. I guess I could speak about SF6 before that one comes out.
Every time I doubt you, a leak comes out the seems to favor you lol. IDK if you check the other forum, but a guy there is sayin that Sony is **planning** to have their reveal in spring and they have a new horror ip in the works. Have you heard anything about this?

Why does the xsx looks so cheap material wise in the recent image ? It was very premium looking at TGA teaser
It's a prototype. The eventual material that will be used will be the same as the PS4 (pro), OneS and OneX. Just matte plastic that looks great when it's not scratched.

So apparently the Sony Hall is closed for a "private event" on February 29th.

Is this it?

Sorry to disappoint you but I rent that thing for my birthday party. I invited Guns and Roses for a Gig too. They are performing their new Album „Not on this Lifetime“ and I am looking forward to hear „don’t cry“ 😁

. Horror IP you say hmm.... As far as the event date is concerned people are cutting trailers and vertical slices right now.

Damn, sounds like MS making moves. :messenger_grinning: So Castlvania, RE8, SF6, wonder if that earlier hint was Killer 7 IP?

This one:
MS is definitely KILLING it, shit just got very real. It’s safe to say MS will have quite a few new titles for Xbox fans to sink their teeth into.

edited to add
It’s 5:07am
Or is it 7:07pm
Who calls some this early that excited about game acquisitions? Fucking seriously.

Spencer being in Japan, then Osiris posting the above changing the time to 7 and 'Killing' in caps. Most likely reaching but Suda said he wanted to make a sequel but said Capcom owned the rights, maybe MS stepped in?

Feel like I'm going crazy waiting with all these rumors and teases floating around. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Osiris what about the konami ip and resident evil 8 ? Ms has bought a konami ip? Sony or Ms has gotten timed exckusivity on re8? Sony or MS?

So I really do enjoy the riddles but sometimes things get a little confusing.

From what you said I got:
- three games for PS5. Two from the same studio of which one is a sequel that looks sick and the other is a new sci-fi game (Santa Monica or Naughty Dog?)
- Ready at Dawn making The Order sequel (sequel from the previous point? But then they're doing a sci-fi as well....?)
- MS buying Konami IP for a new game (Castlevania) or having them work on a new game for Xbox
- MS buying white owl
- MS buying a smaller polish studio (not CDPR)
- Sony doing a Capcom deal with RE8 and Street Fighter 6

I'm trying OsirisBlack OsirisBlack

It says it's the e19 part that went into Xbox.
While i would like to see an ssd capable of a peak speed of 7GB/s in a console (not gonna happen). Throughput, endurance and controller efficiently (to name a few) should be prioritised over simply increasing the peak read/write speed. Couple that with great optimisation of the software stack and you'll have something that's very fast, yet efficient and lasts a lot longer. As exciting as a 7 GB/s peak speed ssd sounds, i doubt we'll see storage speed like this in a console.

Yup, otherwise it would end up just like on PC where the difference between 300Mbps and 3Gbps SSD is close to zero. But given how the devs describe it and are excited about the new SSD technology in next-gen consoles, I think it's safe to say that read/write and access time optimizations is exactly what will be the case, instead of just increasing the raw R/W speeds that on any M.2 SSD are already huge.

That's actually what Sony is hinted at doing. I read some rumors that the reason Sony's SSD solution is better is not the throughput but the way the CPU and GPU can access the data.

So, 3,6 GB/s. So, i was dumb when i said that Xbone HDD was rated at 50-100 MB/s. No, no, no. It's 140 MB rated, speed is up to 7 GB/s.

Yes you were. The spec sheet says what the drive is rated at. What you think the "real world" performance is doesnt matter. And as it stands, we dont have any specs for the drive listed for the Xbox.

I've i said that Xbone HDD is rated at 50-100 MB at first. That falls in line with 3600 MB/s. I didn't even think of real-world performance at first. Then you showed up and said that Xbone HDD is rated at 140 MB.

According to text above, we have specs for XSX drive. Phison the XSX SSD controller PS5019-E19 has 3.6GB/s max read and 2.2GB/s max write. At that speed, it's basically a PCIE 3

I think it's important to note that on the Phison data sheet that is the E19T, not the E19.

You get some differences in that, like the E12C and E12 or E8 and E8t. Different read and write.

The linkedin said that the XSX solution was the E19, so could well be slower, or faster, just yet.

Oh....me. Forgot to mention letter T. :D Maybe they too. But there is no E19 controller, though. Only with T. :D

I wouldn't really care in case Ps5 will be similar to the dev kit, there is nothing offensively ugly about it. I really hope it will be silent though, after the really loud Ps4 i had. That dev kit seemed to have lots of vents, so it seems good to me.

yeah i want it to look like the devkit just a more refined version hopefully

The one apparently in Scarlett is not only E19 (not E19T), it is also a DRAM-less version. DRAM-less SSDs are usually much slower with random read latency higher too.

But the benefits: 'Having no DRAM means a less complex PCB, smaller/simpler flash controller, lower power draw and overall lower cost (most noticebly on smaller capacities).'

The e19t has a read speed of 3.6gbs. Im not sure if thats the exact same part. On the models list you will see they have an e12 and an e12c part with different read speeds.
I finally understand what you mean. E19 != E19T.

I actually think the person on LinkedIn just forgot the "T". I don't think there is a E19, and there's only a E19T. Nowhere am I able to find the existence of the E19. Also in the video of Phison, it's clearly the 19T that is mentioned for console gaming.

Curious that the First three letters are PS5 😂

You don't need to be an insider to understand about the development of RE 8 and any offshoots. I can say right now that Capcom is creating remakes of Dino Crisis, Onimusha, and Lost Planet, backing it all up with "Check it out. Although, of course, these are my thoughts"
It will come true, but that doesn't mean I'm an insider
when "Insiders" start saying specific things here, we will be able to trust them at least a little, and so
Endless riddles and common things with sentences "they didn't believe Me, but I told them when I said about rose petals in the winter garden, but they didn't understand the hint)) "

No, you weren't dumb. You were just comparing the wrongs numbers, which was dumb. Which you're doing again, btw. You're still comparing real-life numbers with theoretical throughput. It doesn't make sense.

Sony are currently booking flights for people from PlayStation UK and Sony UK to go to California at the end of March, I would expect the announcement around then.
Can’t be right? I’ve been told the 3rd week of February. Should be getting an announcement by the end of next week.

Yeah I noticed lol. That's a strange coincidence, maybe Sony is manufacturibg the SSD inside XboSeX.

Anyway, this means XBX has a DRAMless E19 NVMe 4th gen SSD. Likely smaller capacity, certainly less performance, lower power and much cheaper (if its smaller capacity) than bigger brother DRAM versions of this new product.

So XBX has a very fast, smaller capacity NVMe boot drive sitting alongside a slower, larger capacity SSD. You heard it here first folks. ERA weirdos reading this bookmark my comment.

I don't really care about loading times...if Xbox have 30s more then ps5 Is not something to laugh or trolling posts on the web 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️😂 What i care Is that series X must have serious improvements in regard of Xbox One X

Same user leaked the PS5 Dev kits.

He has posted a picture from a public patent . That’s not insider information.

other than that he has used other people post and pretended its his . Like the ps5 console design . Someone had posted that few days before him . He never gave credit . And when it leaked on reddit that it was fake . He said well obviously it was fake lol

wanna be insiders . JFC lol
