Is obiwan, Liam nesson or Sam Jackson in this?

Not yet, but they're working on Obi-wan and General Grievous, apparently. Doesn't seem like they'll make it in time for launch, but they shouldn't be too far away. Qui-Gon and Mace Windu might get added somewhere down the line, but I wouldn't count on it.

There was talk of it and the story but they never showed anything other then the very small clips you see in the trailer and even then none of that was gameplay just cinematics. So on that front it made sense to bring up the actress playing the main character.

This is why I believe they tried to make it a seem like it was bigger focus then it really was. I'd love to be proven wrong. They know the lack of a single player was one of the huge negatives of the previous game. They know people want it. If they were serous about and it was a significant part of the game why wouldn't they have showed it already? Why would they still have it clouded in mystery when the game is little over a month away? All red flags.

Plenty of games have shown off campaigns months before release and still not spoiled anything story wise. They've shown a lot of the multiplayer. Showing off a beginning level shouldn't be hard unless they know there is going to be a negative reaction to what they've put together I feel.

Don't expect much. I think the story will be cool, but there will be no depth in the gameplay. It'll be the MP controls directly translated into MP. There will probably be a few set pieces.

I think it's going to mainly serve as a tutorial.

Buy this game please, look at all the content compared to the one you bought last time

Joke aside, that is kind of what we all expected in 2015.

Absolutely incredible, they have really appeared to listen to the complaints of the first. Even if the single player is mediocre, still an incredible package and presentation and improvement on the first, which was already amazing in several areas.

Damn I hope they add them too.

Why the hell I can't buy the physical copy of this game on Amazon yet still baffles me.

Does EA not like selling video games or....?

I wonder how hot that SP campaign is coming in. The main actress mentioned in the GB video last week that she still had some voice recording to do.

Are you restricted to period appropriate Heroes?

Like, can I play as Luke Skywalker on Naboo? Can I be Darth Maul on Starkiller Base?

Unclear. Demos thus far have been a firm no on such a restriction, with Rey fighting Maul on Naboo, and Poe's black X-Wing flying in to do battle at the height of the Galactic Civil War. I would doubt such a restricted being added in for the game in the end, honestly.

Really curious about how fleshed out the offline content is.
Will we be able to earn xp and unlock cards and stuff offline this time?
I really hope that is the ca se.

Seeing what Luke is up to after ROTJ should be worth the price of admission. Remember this shit is canon.

Something tells me they are going to avoid all of the main characters, I doubt we will get more than the odd mention and a cameo if we're lucky.

Why are they hiding sp so much?

At Star Wars Celebration, they mentioned the campaign closes the gap between Return of the Jedi & Force Awakens. The story is canon, so I'm assuming there are some things they want to remain under wraps.

I'm going to guess we get a single player trailer after the official Last Jedi trailer releases. Should be mid-October.

The way they word this has me worried that the SP will mostly just be completing objectives on the MP maps. I believe that's how BF1 mostly did it.

I didn't watch this with sound,

But why is the Single player only in the margin there, with those 4 maps? Does that mean you get all the maps plus those in single player as an extra, or does single player only have those 4 maps? What do they mean single player? Hmmm....

Better just to ignore them and bask in the glory of a new SW game that looks to correct just about every mistake of the first.
It looks good, but it doesn't fix everything.

-Still no ground to air gameplay

-Still no vehicles on maps. Battlefield is phasing this out too and it sucks

-Mixing heroes from different eras

-Loot crate kind of system

With that said though. The game looks very good, and honestly it seemed they showed a lot of campaign stuff during the summer.

The character is playable in multiplayer too, additional recording might be for that.

This game looks cool but I think I'll wait until after launch to see what the post game support looks like.

Damn, when was this confirmed? I thought it was just gonna be about the Imperial officer?

There is a scene with one of the Inferno Squad members pointing their blaster at Luke haha

It was confirmed during the unveiling at Star Wars Celebration and in a lot of interviews after that.
