Its a software called gameglass. You can basicly use every keyboard command in the game with the tablet as a graphical UI. I think max tablet is four. Works with other games like Elite too.
I remember SC having something called Mobi glass in the in universe world, so I guess this is just a way of bringing it to a real world thing.

In a way yes but much more to do with the ship command access ,mining, targeting, shield management etc. There is tons of different layouts you can use depending on your use case. You can also create your own one but that is with a account that costs more. In the end you will still need keyboard but atleast in flying an driving these do the job.

Jesus Christ, I had a pair of these when I was younger in the blue/orange color scheme. It was my first pair of "good" shoes.
I also got a lot of comments from other kids when I'd wear them to school. . .

Damn, this really takes me all the way back.

Yeah man, i must've been 8 seeing Kriss Kross (so cringey now) and was OBSESSED with those Ewing's (what's a Ewing I thought) .. Anyways, I brought my mom to Footlocker and they had a different model; pretty disappointed but they were still Ewings. So... Very proud wearing those back then

Our electric kettle won't heat any more so I picked out a new kettle:

iu

Here's hoping it arrives ASAP because heating water on the stovetop is for suckers.
It arrived today and I am in love.

Since this is a video game forum... you can play snake/worm on your kettle.

1. Turn it on
2. Take kettle off the base
3. Flip the C/F switch back and forth (it's the one on the back, left side)
4. Play the game using dial

It's stupid and I love it.

I've been looking for a great cassette to mp3 converter for this same reason.

So many great songs lost to the void. Mine and my friends shitty bands, but due to shitty studios or contracts there is just no way to access them anymore.

The old cassettes are all I have of a lot of my favorite songs from my youth.
Those actually aren’t hard to find

what's special about it?

don't mean to sound rude. genuinely curious :) i must admit i'm not a huge car nerd but to me it doesn't look like anything special and it's a car from 30 years ago. how come it took so long to buy it? is there a story behind it?

To be honest, it is mostly special to me, personal taste I guess. :) It has a very nice sounding 6-cylinder engine and they are becoming pretty rare if you want one in good condition.
The car is exactly as old as I am and it's still an absolute joy to drive, if it would not be for the gas prices in Germany atm :/

Bought a "Thrillseeker" yearly pass to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Going to go a couple of times next week while I'm off and enjoy some apparently world class roller coasters and one of the better Six Flags parks. I rediscovered my love of roller coasters on a trip to Universal (Velocicoaster!!!) and Disney in Florida in April and haven't even been to Six Flags here in the 4 years I've lived here. I live about 8 miles away.

Just received my Jordan 7 Retro BCFC Paris Saint-Germain sneakers.

A gift for my feet as we often neglect them.

Yes they're on my kitchen counter as I can't afford a velvet stand with a "Price is Right" model to show it off.

I'm a Frenchie from Montreal so the Fleur-de-lis on the heel is a nice touch :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

old beemers are bullet proof. Also real nice looking retro cars are going up in value rapidly. If you are into cars E36, E46 and E92's are great time capsules of a bygone era of motoring.

I too added a car to my collection this month. It's currenty on a shipping container coming over from a dealer in Dubai, who brokered a private sale for me and the seller. It's a nearly mint delivery milage Shamal - in a super rare mint condition. I think only a handful of these are left in the world in this condition - super limited car and one I will not be putting much miles on until I have it fully PPF protected by a specialist. 1990 - only 369 Shamals were produced between 89 and 95, so if parts are needed... I will be bending over my ass.

also preparing for a lengthy stay in the dog house as my mrs doesn't know about this one yet. I am running out of space on the driveway / garage.

Oh wow, congratulations! The Shamal is just fabulous. Arguably the Biturbo's coolest cousin. Any car with box flares gets an A+ from me. I know a guy in NYC who's just got a black one, you may want to reach out and become friendly. If you're on instagram his handle is @misterenthusiast. He's got this as well as an Escort Cosworth, BMW M1, Detomaso Guara (!), Jag XJ220 etc etc..

A bunch of synths... again...

Roland has a new series of mini synths emulating their classics, so I felt I had to add them to the collection. The J6 is a Juno style engine and has a very nice chord generator which I hope will be very handy. The T8 does a bunch of classic Roland drum computer sounds (808 and 909 mainly) and a 303 style bassline.

This one is from a relatively new Japanese company, and they did a chiptune synth that sounds incredible. Kinda impulse bought this one, but I feel it nicely rounds out my collection and I really should stop here for a while :D
