No ODST code for me. :( Not that I really expected to win something. Someone forgot to tell Bungie to give me a map pack code for my b-day.

I'm curious, are the skulls on the maps meant to be found in forge/monitor mode or are they hidden for a spartan/elite to find?

If you're looking at your gallery (not recent screenshots or file share), there's a button called "Set as trophy shot".

If you save a shot from your Recent Screenshot section into your Screenshot Gallery, you can click on Set as Trophy Shot and it'll change.

Click on the picture that is your trophy shot on the main page of your profile (where you have a link to "File Share" "Screenshots," "Career Stats," "Game History," and "Bnet Profile"). It should then bring you into a list of screenshots, where your trophy shot is highlighted in gold. At the bottom of that picture, you can see "unset trophy shot."

project badass is almost complete. I'm working on a swat version because i have $4 left

I have a really good haiku, but Halo Babies is down so I can't submit it. :(

Also I'm pretty sure Louis won't get through all those replies. Bit of a shame, I wrote like 15 taglines....
 
So there must have been some kind of mistake I did not receive a Mythic map pack code.

Anywho, as soon as I can get it up, work will continue immediately. Looking forward to customs tonight if I can.
 
Holy shit @ the code madness. If Bungie would like to give DailyGamerBlog.com a few codes, we could use the population boost :lol We just reopened, I haven't posted anything yet though. Maybe I should be doing that rather than playing the maps. Bah! ;p Actually, I'll have a writeup there sometime soon, with videos, for the Mythic Map Pack.

I'm about done with my map aptly name Skycrap. I have some spawning issues to fix and some small geometry problems need to be resolved. But it's safe to say that map is crap. Hopefully I can test it out again during customs tonight.
 
Kongregate.com has released a contest to enter to win a copy of Halo Wars. All you have to do is play Batallion:Nemesis. Theres also a cool level with Master Chiefs.

Your map was great, actually. I just wasn't a fan of having two Banshees and the only spawns being both bases. :P

It's funny how Forge and Sandbox can accidentally suck hours of your day right out from underneath you. I keep telling myself to refrain from working on any more Forge-related stuff till I see what comes out of the community when it's launched (since they'd likely do loads better than I), but to no avail. As I speak, I'm stacking double blocks like a fool.

I look forward to perusing your map, Beazy.

For those who have yet to get the maps, AJ's cooked up a brief run-through on the maps. Hopefully this'll help some folks get a feel for how these maps play.



The screenshots featured are all GAF'ers. ;-)
 
Here is my first Crypt based map. It is called Kulkukan. I'll be headed to bed here shortly since I am not feeling well, so I won't be able to test it with any of you tonight. It should work with Slayer, Oddball, CTF, and KotH. If any of you try it out tonight, any feedback would be appreciated.

So I booted up halo and a message popped up that said people who purchase Halo Wars LE could play the maps in a mythic hopper.....which of course immediately led to me madly checking to see if the hopper was live :lol why would that pop up before Halo Wars is out?
