Tomorrow I hope to have some gameplay videos up on the new maps. I'll also be putting up videos for those of you who requested captures recently.

New version of Skyperch reuploaded.

Fixed some spawns

Added a few walls for you suicidal people

Added blue/red lights so you can easier distinguish what side you spawned on

Added a couple new respawn zones

The Mythic Pack comes with hookers and blow.

Its free. No one wants to pay for sh... i mean pay 80 for 3 maps and a demo to then find out that they don't like it and wasted their money.
 
The only difference here is that all three of these maps are better than any map on the disk. (with maybe the exception of Pit) & arguably they are better than the DLC to date.

So if people are just cheap fucks, then well that is their loss. :p

I am. God knows what I'm going to do next week when I have KZ2 and HW to play. And I still have yet to finish The Lost and Damned.

Bonus Map Pack + Killtacular Map Pack = awesomeness... AND they were freakn free. The only maps I paid for were the 2 dollar maps. I'd GLADLY pay 2 dollars for a map.

The Mythic pack tops any Halo map pack that's ever been available. Avalanche, or the entire Legendary map pack for that matter, has nothing on Sandbox, Assembly, or Orbital.
 
My 360 will arrive tomorrow and I shall play Halo 3 for the first time (already got the game)!!! I hope I can finish it before Friday, then KZ2 is released!! It will be quite a ride for me this week. Yeah!! :D

Avalanche is better than every Halo 3 map combined. You could give me the option of playing an Avalanche only list or a list with every may released so far including Mythic and I would choose Avalanche because it's perfection and nothing else in Halo 3 comes close.

BTW

I don't know if you guys know this or not but Heavies is the most retarded thing that Bungie has ever done. It's worse than the other worst thing you can think off. Heavy matches go like this:

1) My team wipes out the other team by like 40 kills.

or

2) My team gets wiped out by the other team by like 40 kills.

If your idea of fun is watching the spawn screen every other second then this is your game. I can probably count the amount of close heavy games I've played on one hand with fingers left over.
 
Thank you Neogaf, you made me discover the glory of interlocking objects, by complete accident! (Because I was to lazy to read a How To) Anyway, I cannot imagine even trying to delve into Sandbox without using interlocking now.

I'd be up for the Halo night, if I could figure out time conversions.
 
Yeah, Heavies is terrible. Even when winning, it's no fun. You either trash a team or get trashed. Four laser spawns on the map combined with their fairly quick spawns is not enjoyable. I had hoped this type of game was reduced, but recently playing Squad Battle, it's come up far too often than I speculated.

Blackout spawns aren't fixed, either. A person shouldn't spawn right by the flag in elbow after I had just killed him in red base (1 CTF on Blackout, Double Team).

How big is Squad Battle? I'm mainly into BTB so you get 16 people shooting multiple rockets, lasers, snipers, BRs, ARs, Missle Pods, Gauss Hog fire, and a bunch of other crap all at once and it just gets really hectic. It really gets bad on Standoff which isn't as big as it looks. Heavies comes up on BTB every other game. It's terrible. I can't stand it. BTB Slayer is so great, so I don't know why they have to mess with the formula.

Interlocking is like a drug now. In some situations there is no reason to use it but I can't help myself. I've been messing with getting under the map, but I keep dying. Any tips on how to avoid the death part?

I'm tempted to take it myself honestly :lol but that would be stealing.

I wasn't entering these contests because my luck is typically bad with random contest (Though any contest that requires creative skill, I've only lost once in my life, not to toot my own horn, well maybe I am :)).

I'm having another Halo 3 LAN party at my place for just personal friends this time. 2 projectors, one 62" TV. Gonna buy 2 more Legendary packs for the other 360s, and it would be great to have 3 copies of Mythic somehow...

...so I'm wondering, how many codes are Bungie giving out in total?

My night consisted of:

Big Team Slayer Valhalla - joyous spawns between a raging Warthog, Sniper, Banshee, and laser. All throughout. Lots of fun.
Big Team Slayer Valhalla - was heavies. Closer than you'd expect for Heavies, but it was not close toward the end. Once a team controls two lasers, Scorpion, and a Banshee, it's over.
Big Team Slayer Valhalla - another Heavies, another slugfest -- won by 82 kills.
Big Team Slayer Sandtrap - normal, casually gone by slayer game at Sandtrap. Ended up not being close (and boring).
Big Team Slayer Construct - a beautiful slayer match of 6v6 on a small map like Construct. 28 combined grenade kills, and lots of camping on lifts. Again, lots of fun.
Multi Flag CTF Standoff - two guys on our team somehow were 'dropped' prior to the start, so it was 3 vs. 5, and their team was garbage. Still lost, of course.
1 Flag CTF Last Resort- their entire team quit after their first wave on offense. Also, why is the big, open box in the base still not removed? I remember over a year ago people were complaining about the box in skirmish matches in the base. A team can easily flip the box over the flag spawn and thus, basically eliminating a chance of scoring -- of course, unless your team wipes out their entire squad and you ram the Warthog into the box. The box needs removed, period. No point whatsoever being in there.

And this was a night of only entering Squad Battle with three people. Getting two randoms either good or bad is a flip of the coin.

Eazy and I were screwing around in Forge on Sandbox for an hour and a half now, and just 30 minutes ago, he showed me how to interlock so that I could get rid of all the nasty holes I had on my sky map.

Welcome back you dirty jerkin off to clowns mother fucker.

Map is as complete as will will ever be until I can get some games in on it and see what's wrong. Decently sized map suitable for team games of 6-10 players and supports all the gametypes (focus on slayer and CTF). I'll post some screens and a link tomorrow.

I've been running into this glitch quite frequently though:

Objects become solid gold at random. I'll load the map up in forge and a different one will be gold pretty frequently, it'll stay gold for a while then return to its normal state. The gold seems to pop up and scatter rapidly throughout the map before appearing or disappearing. Very weird.
