Communities forum would be more adequate for this thread.
NiceYou can set your space suit and helmet to not be visible in breathable environments even though you're still wearing them. You can do it by highlighting the item in inventory and then looking for the option at the bottom.
I just scroll through the available pins and line them all up before selecting them. It solves the puzzle before using the digipicks. I am still first level lock picking so no idea if this works at higher levels.Someone posted a nice lockpick trick in the OT thread but I can't find it
With a controller it works the same by holding A to pick objects up.On PC at least if you pick up an item in the world (by holding E) you can rotate it by holding right mouse while holding it.
Can you expand the cargo on the default ship? I went into the builder and tried to duplicate the cargo hold but there was nowhere to attach the duplicateHoly moly. The ship builder has just clicked for me. The Galaxy can’t handle my beast with massive cargo space!
I keep jumping to random systems and never finding anyone. The universe is shockingly peaceful. Also have found very few towns/cities? Most worlds seem empty. Don’t know if there’s an easy way to see if they are there or not at a glance.
Question about this as I’ve been seeing streams here and there:
- While in ship flight mode, remember you can send power to your engines, shields, etc. If using a gamepad (highly recommended) it's the D-pad to operate them. Left or Right to select systems, Up or Down to select amount
You’re better off either making your ship bigger (if you have the credits) or just replacing the existing cargo bay with one that can fit in more areas. The initial cargo bay sucks in terms of fitting on to a ship. It’s a hard one to duplicate. That’s why I suggest buying other ones. They don’t cost much. Can you expand the cargo on the default ship? Is there a way to perform these actions faster on a controller? It seemed like some people were fumbling with this power swapping feature while trying to engage in combat.
The only solution I kind of saw was that someone simply got a bigger and better ship so that they didn’t have to do it as much.
Oh. I just realized I spent 90 minutes in the ship builder, lol.

This is a great addition but bugs out for me. Quest markers will randomly not show up so I had to go back to selecting them one by one. I had the exact same problem with a Skyrim mod doing the same thing so it must be an engine problem...On the quest button, once you see all your quests, there's an option to mark every single quest instead of just one, seems obvious but it took me hours to discover it and it helped a lot.
If you’re not a fan I apologize, but some of the tips he has in that video seem really, really vital to a good experience, especially the one about the main quest.Cringeranx
