As it's looking right now, my personal game of the year is by far Fallout: New Vegas, so I'm a bit glad that it was at least nominated as the PC GoTY.

Haha what

They just pick well known names in big games for the best VAs...and totally ignore all the other voice actors. All Nolan North of them.

The awards will be rubbish like always, just something you have to sit through to see the new trailers.

They always just go with the popular games rather than the ones that were actually any good.

Same with the voice actors as well, just picking the celebrity names over people that have done decent voice work.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

What are Fable III and Final Fantasy XIII doing in the Best RPG category?

That is just ridiculous.

You know I could be snarky and add another game to that list, Dennis.

But lets just say the other two are much greater afronts to sensibility.

I don't usually care about these things but it's some kind of crime not to even nominate Galaxy 2's score, right?

This horrendous awards show is actually still here SEVEN freakin years later?

A hate crime.

But did you really expect them to be decent? The VGAs are really just about three things.

1) Ineffectually raging at the shitty selection
2) Laughing at all the horrible celebrity presenters.
3) Seeing some trailers

No Galaxy 2 among the games of the year?
No Bayonetta nor Vanquish anywhere?
FAIL.

I'm just glad for Super Meat Boy, go Team Meat!!!

Seriously, Call of Duty hasn't been GotY material since Modern Warfare. But whomever decided these nominees was too cool to play Super Mario Galaxy 2, I see. Pathetic.

Ah, well. Red Dead Redemption for the sweep, and Joe Danger for Best Indie Title. I don't know why fucking Costume Quest is nominated for Best Downloadable Title and Joe Danger isn't, that's retarded beyond belief.

Adam Prime

hates soccer, is Mexican
man I totally forgot some of these games were released this year. Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain... really?! Felt like those were both last year games. I mean damn, ME2 is already in the bargain bin.

no Super Mario Galaxy 2, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Vanquish or Super Meat Boy in GOTY list, failure.

I haven't played any of the nominated games (as I am mostly a PSP and PC gamer these days).

But just on principle, Judi Dench should win anything she's nominated for. I mean, she's a Dame for crying out loud. And she still did a video game voiceover.

So they will include GT5 in next year awards?

It's been pretty well established by Spike through the years that if you come out after Call of Duty, you don't matter.

Japan, represent!

Metroid: Other M (Nintendo/Team Ninja/Nintendo)
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (Konami / Kojima Productions)
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (Nintendo/ Level-5)
Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Nintendo/Nintendo)
Final Fantasy XIII (Square Enix/Square Enix)
Kirby's Epic Yarn (Nintendo/Good-Feel)

Oh, come ON, Spike. I know this award show is purposely bad, but no amount of Mountain Dew plugging can distract from 9 slots out of 100 or so.

Yay! I sure hope the Jersey Shore cast is on again. I mean they are exactly what I think of when I'm playing games. Oh and Stevie Wonder. Can't get enough of that hardcore motherfucker.

Are these voted by the public then?
