Unless they have to wait until midnight, the odds of a review tonight aren't looking so good anymore. As much as I've bashed Kameo, I'm interested to see how it rates. I have no interest in trolling it, though. If it scores well then good for Rare. I can't always wish ill of my once favorite developer.

Huh? It's already been said: midnight on GameSpot and I'm not sure of the times for IGN and 1Up, but it's tonight.

My prediction: PGR3 will score equal or more than PGR2.

Hopefully they will not pull off a Bungie 2K4 with this game

There's no way they'll give Madden over a 9. It's main appeal is graphical detail and high definition. The standard game didn't score over a 9, so a more expensive port, albeit much prettier and with more detail, is not going to score significantly higher. I'd expect between an 8.5 and an 8.8. I've been wrong before, though.

Edit: I could see that happening, Amirox. I'm not a racing fan by any means, but its predecessors have scored well and this looks to be more of the same in a good way.

the best part about those early maddens was when someone got injured and the ambulance would come out and run over healthy players to get to the injured guy :lol

I just want to thank GAF in advance for all the great jokes, funny pictures, and absolute madness that is going to happen this week and next. We need a console release ever other year, they're just so much fun.

:lol That was my favorite part about the early Madden games too. Those ambulance drivers were wild. I also loved the hilarious grunting and hitting sound effects that were a part of the series during its 16-bit days.
