So this week has been ridiculous with Microsoft changing its embargoe, every day three times a day. And we're running on one debug unit and one retail. And we don't even have a copy of PDZ yet! Anyway -- we will have three reviews tonight (as Tal has said in a previous thread) plus a video feature and, strangely, video reviews of two games (but not the text reviews until later).

Video reviews:

Call of Duty 2

Revews of PGR3, Call of Duty 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and more will come in tomorrow -- and they will be full and complete IGN three to four-page reviews. The other reviews will come along quickly after that. Sharing one unit for all these 18 games has been...shall we say, interesting...

We'll also have a fatty, and I mean FATTY, online feature detailing all the functionalities of the Xbox and each and every game, and a sweet video feature on the Xbox 360 and its capabilities.

PS, we'll also have three reviews on Xbox (but you don't really care about that, now, do you? ;))

Kameo is too sluggish to deserve anything past 9.0(if it plays similar to demo) unless the story/setting is extra awesome.

PGR looks really great and if it plays as good as I think, should get something around 9.5.
Launch get.

But this is IGN Xbox... the same people that gave 9.9 to Jade Empire.

Heretics. IGN Xbox rate their game judging by how many succesfull PS2 games there have been lately. If alot of great PS2 games have been released, they overrate their Xbox games heavily to feed their Xcrowds.
When Gamespot reviews the same game and gives it a harsher score, the IGN boards are on fire(but a month after they realise Gamespot was much more spot on, after all).

Yeah, like IGN and GameSpot agree on PS2 games, either.

EA delivers. 2K doesn't. No surprise.

I'll have to wait for tommorrow to see the drama though. Why do embargos always live on pacific time? Everything should be embargoed on eastern time!

Someone on the IGN boards linked to last year's reviews as a joke. For those tuning in, those are scores for Madden 2005 and NBA 2K5, not X360 06 or 2K6.

Also a huge ass hardware feature, along with tons of hardware videos, and direct feed of PGR3, Geometry Wars 2, Kameo, yadda yadda yadda.

MS announced the game will be at launch. Although this may not be good news if MS is holding back the game from publications so they can't review it.

So that machine in the kiosks, is it the final machine? If so, will we start seeing some actual games on that machine come launch? That demo's run it's course, and I want to see some real polished 360 stuff playing. It would definitely help sell the system.
