The companies who make the hardware?

Obviously this is a subjective topic but based on this last gen's current sales/trends, Sony holds the crown.

That being said, raising prices on games and console, longer development time and of course dissapointing games is what is making this next-gen not feel so next gen.

So who wins?

Us the gamers? The developers for making the game? Or the companies by the $$$ they make off the sales?

Us. Hooray for having 3 gaming giants slugging it out for a piece of the pie. I've been playing a lot more games lately and the 360 is going to rock. And so will the PS3!

Next next gen? Everyone, when shit gets back to basics when companies learn $60-70 games aren't gonna sell and people want to play games instead of fucking with boomerangs and tv remotes.

360: MS-published games are all $50, Live games $5-$10, and features the finest controller ever crafted by man. :)

If the launch lineup is any indicator, 360's gonna have dick that I want to play, Live is a ripoff unless you're home to actually make it worth paying for, and that is not the smaller Saturn controller.

and MS stocks isn't going up anymore, which is why they are find it harder to hire talent over companies like Google, because they can't just offer stock options like they used to.

Whoeever thought that $60 games was a good idea wins. Xbox 360s sold out everywhere regardless the first damn day within the first few hours...no one seems to be sweatin the extra 10 bucks that they will have to pay for games at all. Even if prices go down in the long run to get more buyers, the launch buyers ate it up like candy corn making it well worth it for M$ at the start

Women are going to love the Revolution. Especially because it's white and small and can play games involving stuff they are good at, like shaking thigs around with one hand. It's a natural fit. While 360 and PS3 go macho, Revolution's slim, elongated controller design will really attract the gyno-gamer.
