Dr. Claus
Vincit qui se vincit
Last released was Infinite and it is considered mediocre by many and failed Microsoft and 343i goals/projections.Halo - FPS
Last released was Gears 5, almost 4 years ago. No release for this generation yet.Gears of War - TPS
They are both simcade. The only difference is one is an open world racer with shit progression, and the other is self-contained racing maps.Forza Horizon - Arcade Racer
Forza Motorsport - Racing Simulator
Both excellent. Sadly it has been 3 years since Tactics (would love a sequel!) and 2 years since AoE4. Thankfully they do seem to keep making DLC for AOE 3 and 2, both better games than 4.Age of empires/ Gears Tactics - Strategy games
Isn't out yet and may not even release this year. I don't trust Bethesda with release dates.Star Field - First person RPG
In development hell.Fable - Third person RPG
Either in Development Hell or a product they are ashamed to show much of.Hell blade 2 - Action adventure game
I know there is more than what I listed, but it has enough variety games coming out nonetheless. These passion projects actually helps since AAA games take like 5 years to make.
In the AAA space, Xbox has been barren for years. The handful of games they released were mediocre, glorified expansion packs sold at full price, or were released years ago.
The only thing Xbox has had going for it as of late has been Game Pass, which really isn't that impressive since we aren't getting the AAA high quality releases, and their "passion projects" - which ARE excellent. Hi-Fi Rush is fun as hell and Pentiment was a beautifully moving and engaging narrative adventure. Grounded is fun, but is more middle of the road in my eyes.
You think TLOU2 is a masterpiece. The only complete joke here is you.Complete joke.
If these games are your passion, as in, you wouldnt want to make ANYTHING ELSE but these, even if you could.... then you need to dream bigger.
Disgusted at how developers have zero passion to push the medium forward.
