Did you play anything today jeff?

I'm sorry, my love is so deep for the DC, that I felt I needed to dedicate my own thread. Yes, Today I played Draconus for a bit, Sonic Adventure, Shenmue and a few other favs...

ah dreamcast,

your analog stick made my thumbs bleed,

your triggers gave my hands cramps,

your VMU batteries died too soon,

it was like a warning of your future,

abandonded as a child,

left out in the cold,

reach out your hand Dreamcast,

I have a stack of CDRs right here,

don't worry this wouln't hurt a bit,

everything is becoming clear,

VGA adapter,

you are gods gift to games,

all the colors are so bright,

I think I'll play some MAME.

:lol :lol :lol

Honestly, I liked how quickly they figured out how to make bootable DC discs. Man it was great playing emus on the big TV -- back in 2000, that was quite a novelty.

Fave DC Moments:

Soul Calibur
Chu Chu Rocket
Hi-res Bust-A-Move 4 (!)
SFIII - 3rd Strike
Some Motorcycle Game Whose Name I Can't Remember
Virtua Tennis

Low Moments:
3D Sonic :(
The RPG Lineup. Ever play one of those "Evolution" games? Yeesh.

I think I am going to play some F355, SC, then ikurga tonight. Maybe go wander around PSO's empty space stations

Online play Chu Chu rocket rox.... omg... Remember that "online" puzzle game where your moves would be sent through e-mail...? It came with teh ODCM Demo discs...LOL. That was pre-chu-chu rocket.. and it was such a horrible game. But I have to commend Sega for at least trying to be different. Bernie Stolar had an amazing launch... one of the best launches ever imo.
