Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac brings the Saint Seiya saga to the big screen in live-action for the first time. Seiya (Mackenyu), a headstrong street teen, spends his time fighting for cash while he searches for his abducted sister. When one of his fights unwittingly taps into mystical powers he never knew he had, Seiya finds himself thrust into a world of warring saints, ancient magical training and a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection. Yes.

I can't say this for all Europe, but in France and Italy, Saint Seya is huge.

In Mexico it is more popular than Dragon Quest.

I even did a lot of collaboration with Brazil so that the PS3 video game Musou came indirectly.

It was/is huge in France and Spain.

Interesting. I just know it based on that awful DIC dub, the fact that ADV dropped it mid season and how Netflix just removed it.

But this looks terrible.
