Hi GAF!

Thought this might be a fun one before we get any further through the year. With 2023 being absolutely stuffed with games both new and refreshed, it's interesting to think ahead to what our GOTY lists are going to look like by the time December is done.

Let's play a game - you post your predictions for your personal GOTY lists now, and when 2024 rolls around (or close to), we can look back on how right/wrong we were. I've said top ten in the thread title, but do five, twenty, whatever you like, I'm not your mum.

5. Atomic Heart (this will probably not make it, but it's a fun game - great art)

Games that I haven't played that I guess may be in my top 10:

1. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
2. FF XVI
3. Diablo IV
4. Starfield

I usually put in a few indies though. The whole year has been light on indies so far.

but after that i don't know, too many games i'm interested in but that are not safe bets. Like Armored Core 6, Space Marine 2, STALKER 2, Lords of the Fallen, Forza 8, Remnant 2, Eiyuden Chronicles,...

Regarding what i already played, Hi-Fi Rush could be in the top 10. And Atomic Heart if the year turns out to be not so good.

Of all of these titles, I'm looking forward to Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy XVI, and Armored Core 6. I don't know how Redfall or Dead Island 2 will turn out, so I am on the fence; though I am interested in them. I am still on the hold out for a future Onimusha revival. Capcom fucked up and only remastered the first one. They should have done all 4 titles as a collection or at least the 2nd/3rd one as those are much better and more fleshed out than the 1st.

Unexpected, fun stuff like Hifi Rush, Minecraft Legends would make my list. So I dunno what it actually will be.

Out of big games, I think Redfall would be a safer bet cause I like Arkane games.
