wait whats wrong with the cnet review
It's negative..
Lol accurate.
If something as concrete as framerate can be considered highly subjective then CNET saying "we didn't see much of a difference" in regards to a game's HDR support is definitely not misinformation.
Yeah, I saw it being played at a PSVR demo event a few weeks ago, and the difference with HDR on was very apparent. Admittedly that was being played on a 70" 4KTV - so like you say, maybe CNET's hardware wasn't good enough to take advantage of the improvements.
It's short and gives zero examples of games tested, comparisons, etc. to base their verdict on. There are several similar conclusions to theirs in the OP, but the cnet review basically is like a specs rundown and 'is this confusing and meh to you too?' editorial imo
but I restored its plain link

Went as in depth as I could do, I'm not a one man digital foundry
This cnet salt lmao.
At work so I cant watch yet, but how did you experience the noise / fan performance of the Pro?
People need to relax. I don't think Jeff is really that informed about the system but his opinion isn't weird or wrong. He just doesn't see much of a point for the system but I think for the target audience the Pro will be what they wanted.
That 30% CPU boost coming in.
from Eurogamer article
also this
Except it shows games tested on the 2nd page?
Maybe you shouldn't do a review thread if you're unable to click through one completely.
Quieter than my launch PS4.
Does that line indicate FPS drops in the Pro?

Will FF15 see a 1080p improvement?!
Yes, to about 52 looking at it, but its much less than on PS4 as you can see from the dark line.
From footage I've seen, this seems like a very fair statement. Glad that I can pass on this box for the short term as an OG PS4 owner, but will still get one as the generation winds down for an improved experience for my existing library.I'm not quite ready to review it yet, but here are my impressions so far:

1440p Is my guessIt won't be 900p anymore.
That's disappointing.
Edit: what res is that Pro version running at? 4K or 1080p?
Does MW:R run solid 60FPS at 1080p?
Very excited for this console, and the reviews/impressions seem great so far.
Gonna pick one up next summer, along with a 4K TV.
I hope they'll be selling a white version by then!

I hear him on the Beastcast, he is well informed about the system.
Don't get your hopes up. Still waiting on the HDR update on Xbox One and they announced that pre launch.Starting to have my doubts that there will even be a BF1 Pro patch before Thursday....
