This would make more sense. TLOU2 is an immaculately presented game that is an absolute chore to play. Kinda like how people felt about RDR2, and they'd be right, although I still loved RDR2 because it wasn't misery porn.
Between TLOU2 and RDR2 there's a galaxy of difference in terms of gameplay, though. They both aim more or less for the same realistic feeling, but one do that with competence and still manages to get the best balance between animations and input latency making you perform snappy dodges and super quick and responsive actions when needed, the other is just a complete nightmare to play.
I think that they are right on both
I personally think the latter is straight bullshit. Never had a single issue with shooting in Naughty Dog games, except for U3 at launch, which was fixed thanks to GAF.
Uncharted 4 Multiplayer at 60fps is the very best console TPS i've ever played by a large margin.. so i could never agree with that.
Along with Epic which was a major influence, ND also helped to revolutionize the TPS genre by bringing to the table verticality and mobility never seen before with the Uncharted series.
That being said, i think both melee (bare hands specifically) and shooting felt much better in the first TLOU compared to the sequel.
