What exactly is "ambitious" about TLOU 2?
The fuck with all y'all freaking out over the multiplayer. First game won GOTY because of the single player, not the added multiplayer. People bought it for the single player too. Get outta here with your overdramatic doomsaying.
While I loved the first game's multiplayer, this is no great loss and I am fine with the decision since it means the campaign will be even better.
I am equally disappointed we won't get to have a 100-page thread bitching about the loot boxes in TLOU2 multiplayer. Plus a thread for the Jim Sterling video. And another thread to complain about Naughty Dog's response to player complaints.Sounds like they are chasing RDR2’s shadow and had to sacrifice multiplayer.
Less content for $60 is not a positive and hopefully they add it for free later.
I tried it and it's good. Not good enough to keep me hooked for long, but good.Never touched the MP in TLoU once.
You seem to be the one being over dramatic lol. It was a good addition to the game that many people enjoyed. Clear reason for disappointment. The fuck with all y'all freaking out over the multiplayer. I can see multi being added as a standalone later, with all those delicious micro transactions we know and love.
Yep, everyone else are the dramatic ones lol.I am equally disappointed we won't get to have a 100-page thread bitching about the loot boxes in TLOU2 multiplayer. Plus a thread for the Jim Sterling video. And another thread to complain about Naughty Dog's response to player complaints.
Curse that lack of content.

Pretty much every Sony exclusive we've gotten this generation? On the other side, how many and how often SP games of this quality we get?
You must be kidding? Only one I can think of is God of war 2018, most of them are just good games. Horizon zero dawn - good game, but spoiled with dull open world and dull side quests, weak characters,. After finishing it, I never ever wanna go back to it. Days gone - 15 hours campaign stretched into 40 hours, despite lots of technical issues and extremely uninteresting open-world exploration, it's not a bad game, just would've benefited from a shorter timing and better pacing.Pretty much every Sony exclusive we've gotten this generation?
Factions offered something really unique, and I spent most of my time playing that, rather than the single player. It's nothing like Fortnite or Apex,so to pretend those are alternatives doesn't make sense.
It's fine if you don't care, but others do, and it was promised.
Beautiful news. There is nothing that could make me happier that they are using their full potential in the campaign (and i was ADDICTED to factions).
On the other hand, I don't believe a shit that the game won't have MP. ND would not have been looking for specialized programmers in that area if that would be the case.
NO MP - let's complain, MP present - it has mtx, let's complain. No developer not adding mtx into their game these days, just forget about mtx free MP in 2019, okay? Those were nice days back in the day, but it's over now, get over it.
What the fuck does Uncharted MP have to do with TLoU MP, they're completely different. I'm not a fan of the former but did enjoy the latter. If you don't like it you don't have to play it, nobody is holding a gun to your head, so why the fuck would you want to deny people that do like it. It's a disgusting attitude that I'll never understand: "I don't like it so it shouldn't exist". Did Uncharted or TLoU campaigns ever suffer because naughty dog included a multiplayer component? Not that I ever saw so just fucking stop it with that bullshit attitude.Good. Never liked Uncharted MP. When a heavily narrative-driven cinematic game adds MP it stinks of marketing dictating to development "you need to have this box checked too!".
You've said it yourself, did you expect it wouldn't be in part 2? Then you're naive fool, mister.First, the Multiplayer from the last game was great until was ruined from microtransactions. A lot of people who enjoy it back in the day was hoping for play something good and more refined and without bullshit. Second, multiplayer was announced to be part of the game and we got news that was cancelled just 5 months before release day. If you don't complain about BULLSHIT and you like to SWALLOW at least be cool with other who might not think like you, okay? get over it.
creorder pancelled
Look how bad god of war was? It flopped totally because of no multiplayer. More like alone in war.

Nobody is sayin its gonna flop lol
In fact your examples are only giving more support to the notion that Sony 1st party has plenty of spare room for some multiplayer fun.
