The whole thing just feels like one of those shitty TV channels that try to get you to buy stuff over the phone.

The content sucks, but I don't think there's a problem with advertising multi-platform games. It's just a marketing event. They have an interest in showing people what games they can/should buy. And the average Xbox owner may have interest in what they can possibly buy. 3rd parties also want the spotlight. People give Microsoft a lot of shit for showing multi-platform content at their media events, but everyone does it. The problem is that they only often only/mostly show multi-platform stuff.
