Eevee has been in this thread since it's creation. It's frustrating for us when other Nintendo threads devolve into HAHA GAMEZ FOR 12 YEAR OLDS with nothing being done about it. It's like we are quarantined to this one thread on GAF.

I tried to be the change in GAF for Nintendo Culture and create threads on things Nintendo and build this thread. It just gets old when people are coming into threads and talking down on things that others enjoy.

Keep reporting, I am surprised about this. I know there are some shitty console warriors everywhere but keep us updated.

Thank you

Apex controller, looks kinda nice. though i prefer the Monster Hunter one.

Are you saying you reported these threads and your concerns were not addressed? These seem to be from different threads. We cannot be everywhere, that is what hte report button is for.

Yes, I am saying I reported these threads and these posts and they were not addressed, but the dick pic a few posts later most certainly was so the not being everywhere comment doesn’t cut it for me.

The point is that Nintendo threads regularly get shit on here and a user was sharing their frustration. You told them to contribute to make the thread better. I showed you a series of posts from yesterday that put context to the frustration of the other user, myself, and other commenters in Nintendo threads when we have users coming in to not only make fun of a user base, but things that could be considered derogatory toward people who perform certain human actions. Am I personally offended by them? No, but I’m seeing that we’re cracking down on this kind of behavior on the politics side, which I’m for. I think we should be consistent here. EviLore EviLore

It's time for a great wall of text. This is what I have been thinking about a lot lately

-BOTW 2 (most anticipated game for me, i'm still trying to figure out who the main villain(s) will end up potentially being, as well as speculating about the overworld)
-TLOZ 35th Anniversary (very curious to see what Nintendo chooses to celebrate the series w/ Collectors Edition of some sort seems imminent, but how many games? I'm guessing 5 total)
-TLOZ: Link’s Awakening (next Zelda game I'm playing, most excited about this game and the Final Fantasy game I'll choose to play [never played a FF game])
-SSBU
-Luigi’s Mansion 3 (currently playing)
-BOTW (think I have 210 hrs played, 86 shrines about, a dozen or so sidequests still available, playing BOTW is like a form of meditation when you're out exploring. I think a lot about other TLoZ games while playing BOTW as well)
-Final Fantasy (entire series, trying to map out which games to play in what order too)

And I think SSBU sets up the next SSB game, whenever that will be, to be the greatest in the series by a mile. Here is what can be improved upon imo (quick list):

-Better online overall, friend system, messages and communication, actually being able to invite friends to games
-In arenas, you can jump in and out of spectating (currently, if you leave the match as a spectator, you cannot join back to watch the rest of the fight. You are forced to wait until its over
-More characters to select and play as
-Classic mode with better bonus rounds, the rest of Classic mode is great
-A more refined Adventure mode with a story that isn’t completely useless
-More music
-More Mii Brawler, Mii Sword Fighter etc. customization and costumes
-Bring back collectors items like trophies from SSBM that allow us to learn about gaming from the past / oldschool games
-Have a museum where we can view all the trophies / spirits and can read about their history in their respective games
-Maybe offer (probably the last thing to ever happen) a casino in the game where players can gamble their coins and earnings and win/lose or maybe even a have a mini-game lounge that somehow incorporates fighting into said mini-games
-Maybe 10-20 more maps to fight on
-Coins should be more fun to spend in the next game, this ties to spirits or trophies having a better history attached to them some kind of character summary or something, more purchaseable things that relate to the history of the characters, their games, this will in turn make collecting more fun as well

Overall, Super Smash Bros. has become one of the greatest games to celebrate gaming as a whole over the years. Some players are exclusive to Xbox and Playstation but to me Super Smash Bros. will always be a celebration to the greatness of video games just as much as it is a fighting game now. I'm less competitive now and more about enjoying the fights and having fun with others, favorite aspect about this game is seeing others put together a good game with showmanship and sportsmanship, and enjoying the excellent music selection. One last thing, Koji Kondo deserves the Nobel Peace Prize

Are these 3rd party controllers any good? I mainly avoid 3rd party ones save for Hori.
I have an 8bitdo Pro Plus for my Switch, I’ve got access to an official Switch Pro controller also. I genuinely prefer everything about the 8bitdo. Build quality, ergonomics, analogue triggers, better dpad and clickier face buttons. Only real downside is you can’t turn the system on with it and no headphone jack.

I have some 8bitdo controllers. I don’t like their input lag. Their dpads are butter feeling than the pro, but inferior to the SNES and Hori Fighting Commander on the Switch.

Can anyone recommend a good pro controller? My pro controller is suffering drift on the right analog stick. Also gaming headphones
for Switch?

No idea on controller. Another pro is probably the best and hoping to not get drift. My launch one is still fine so it’s always luck of the draw with Nintendo sticks it seems.

Headphones wise, I’m super happy with my Steelseries Arctis 7x. They’re versatile as the dongle has a toggle switch for Xbox (uses it’s own wireless frequency) and USB for everything else (including Switch docked and in handheld mode). Bought some leather ear pads for it form Wickedcushions.com as I prefer those, but people seem to love the fabric ones it comes with.

I’ve used it with Switch docked and handheld with no problems. Handheld I usually just plug in with a headphone cable. The wireless dongle works fine plugged into the USB port, but the Switch battery will drain faster from powering it.

Got my Switch, downloaded Hades - glorious.

I for sure prefer it on PC, but I was shocked at how well it runs on Switch. And now with the cross save between Steam it just seamlessly translates so I can get a couple extra runs in bed before I go to sleep on the Lite.

Yes, it's pretty great so far. I only had Nintendo's portables before (last home console was Gamecube), so far the UI and overall operations is pretty slick.

Someday in the future, Nintendo will release a "Nintendo Wii Mini" with 40 games and I'll buy it day one. I think it's my favorite Nintendo console, and it's certainly their best-selling, but among die hard Nintendo fans I feel like I am a minority in that opinion. Most people point to SNES, N64, or GC as their favs.
