Ahhhh gutted for Leclerc. So much bad luck when it looked this may have been a really good season for him.

Should be an easy 1-2 for RB now. Russell's on course for podium

Ferrari is going to be their own downfall, it was the same with Alonso and the same with Seb. Sorry Charles. If RB is gonna win, it’s be fantastic if it was Checo with the WDC.

No rain forecast. Can see this being pretty boring at the front. The real entertainment being Leclerc, Perez and Russell trying to move up the pack.

If Max wins this without the others scoring well, it’s getting very hard to see how he’ll be stopped from getting a second (way less controversial) championship. Was hoping to see a decent improvement by now with Merc, and Ferrari seem very fragile in general.

Today we learn Sainz is not championship material

Oh and Ferrari pit stop were abit of a let down again

Should gone with soft tyres there for Sainz ( they dont have medium left anymore)

Eh. That Red Bull has such good torque off the corners, it's hard to see how anyone could have got past Max. He was comfortable the entire time. Can't really lay much blame at Carlos's feet. Lewis, Senna and Schumacher probably wouldn't have had any more luck in those circumstances.

The Red Bull chassis is clearly the best on the grid. It's given them a very pliable car (as much as one can be with these new rules).

Bet my ass if its Alonso or Leclerc in that car they wouldve made it ( overtake max) or at the very least make more atempts at overtaking with those dozen drs opportunity they got

Sainz is abit of a softie hes always bit late at pushing full throtle after exit corner and lap 69 he made a costly error that kept max away

Dont get me wrong sainz is still a good driver he just lack that killer instinct right now

Lol, especially now I’ve also seen the Charles footage it’s safe to call this yellow flag a bit silly. Charles was well on the pedals again by the time Max got there.

Easily the best British Grand Prix in decades 👍

The new cars are working well, especially following through those sweeping corners. Fabulous race.

What a long fucking day that was, didn't get back until 11pm and it's only a 2 hour 15m drive from Northampton. Traffic was shit.

Was a good day though all told. Last few laps were immense. I don't know why everyone jizzed when the SC was getting discussed as it was clearly going to hamper Hamilton. Commentators were giddy the gap would have closed to LeClerc, but Lewis would have caught him anyway. As it was Perez jumped him and Sainz was able to use LeClerc as a blocker. Would have been nice for him to get first at home GP but at least he made the podium. Coupled to that he was fucked over by the pitstop as well.

Didn't see the Zhou crash from where we were directly but man that was fucking horrible in replays.

Unlucky for Max as it was looking like another nailed on win for him. Did well to cross the line over Schuey. Latifi finishing as well, lol. So many DNF though. Checo did well to get up to 2nd after the start he had as well, good drive. Feel sorry for LeClerc, constantly getting fucked over by his team.

Well done for making the best British Grand Prix in years 😊

That timescale to get home is about normal, to be honest. I’ve never got back from the British Grand Prix before 10pm… and I’ve been going since the 90s. The track is just such a bitch to get out of, and the roads leading away from Northampton are dogshit.

Lewis was definitely hampered by that SC. That Merc is improving, but obviously not able to switch the red tyres on fast enough, which indicates the chassis still needs work.

Ferrari have never been all that great on strategy. Schumacher flattered them with his near supernatural ability to read a race from the cockpit. Le Clerc will have to be more pushy about what he wants. No one ever won a championship with Ferrari by treating them with too much respect.
