Destiny 2 PC to have meaningful bespoke features

Features like text chat, and mouse aiming.

Well, it'll be nice to see how seriously they're going to be taking this version, but teasing "features" without at least having one thing as an example is part of a trend I'm starting to get annoyed with. Just say things, stop having these announcements for announcements.

Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!

"Allegedly"

Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)

Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.

You're right, how can we even know if he's guilty or not? HMMMM

2) PC players have already played hundreds of MMO's. The novelty of loot-grind based bullet sponge gameplay is going to be a lot less enticing. Destiny was basically a lot of console players' first MMO so it had that going for it but it's not going to be met with the same patience on PC.

Shouldn't you be making the opposite argument here? The PC platform is full of people who are already comfortable with raid bosses that have 10 million HP. That makes Destiny a much better fit for the PC.

It seemed to me that the majority of the people complaining about "bullet sponges" were the console players who were used to Call of Duty games where every enemy goes down in about 2 seconds.

I'm big on pvp in Destiny.

I come from pc, so I used a xim4 to use mouse and keyboard on ps4. This game has been begging for PC since day 1.

Implicitly trusting the client is common in PC ports of console games. Destiny 1 initially was also easy to hack on the last gen consoles before they put more server checks in place.

I have little confidence Bungie will get this right on their first pass. I'd love to be proven wrong, but they haven't really touched PC development since Halo 2 PC, so I'm not holding my breath.
Not that concerned, maybe they asked blizzard for some tips, it wouldn't be the first time the destiny team talked to those guys.

Sure I'm missing something...sadly I bet most of this list wont be included but I'd be stoke if they did have even half of it.

You forgot 3dfx Glide in your "Full Graphics Features".

Not to mention the plethora of gaming communities on PC.

I'm sorry but communities on PS4 is crap compared to a legit PC community in the wild. Just go to any mmorpg site and go to the clan recruitment section for most of them, there are some insanely hardcore ones as well as casual ones. Multiple divisions, overall structure and leadership. Also the ability to login to a discord, teamspeak or vent and chat without an 8 person limit without using another device is massive. Consoles still don't match the PC gaming community scene. Think the 100.io except more groups and an insane amount of more people. People that don't just stick to one game but literally evolve with their community.

I have met my gaming community members on the PC personally at multiple cons and we even have a get together at Disney land where you pay an insanely reduced price to go and have fun. I have yet to even speak to a PS4 non IRL friend on a regular basis to even know them by name. Most of the communities are just random posts, no structure and no one really organizes anything well. GAF, the100 and Reddit are literally the only 3 entities I know of for a big base to rely on and get to know.

Too crazy to expect a mod tool kit? Forge advanced

Yes, too crazy.

I'm personally torn on the platform. My PC is definitely my most powerful device despite my PS4 Pro, but given that the community on PC is a big question mark and I'm thinking they will set up shooting for a mouse rather than a controller (Making controller players have a disadvantage, even when we're talking about PvE because there won't be any some assistance with a controller), I'm still thinking PS4 is my better bet.

The only reason I may go PlayStation is the extra content. with how sparse content was in D1, that extra strike or two may make the difference between which platform I use.
