I've installed "a" patch, not sure if its "the" patch, and yeah, it has those issues. But it performs better than past souls games, so theres that.
Sometimes their site information doesn't update, but I always get my release date stuff on time. Always.I'm not getting it from Amazon, but I would assure people who are that they are extremely reliable in getting you your games on the release date. Like, probably 100/100 for me.
I don't understand why people are getting themselves really worked up over scores, tis only an arbitrary number taken from a subjective review, for which every one has different tastes. So lets say in a hypothetical world, if the game gets to be in the 7-8 range (which I don't understand how people interpret that as bad) would that make you skip what is likely going to be an awesome addition to the souls series? I mean hell dark souls 2 was like an 8 ish game if I remember correctly, and its still pretty great.
Seems like you have the day one patch, it seems to be out...
That sucks i must say. Was really hoping Sony would fix the framerate by release
How often does it drop? Constantly?
As a baseline, it runs smoother than past games. But there are frequent small drops, with infrequent significant drops where it will chug badly (ie you get under a boss, or the camera whips around awkwardly, etc)
Why is the embargo so late? Isnt that usually reserved for games that review really poorly? Bad feeling about how hard BB is gonna be slammed.
Bloodborne 6/10 confirmed.
I keep reading and just wanna play the entire game co-op with my brother... so I have to set a Watchword the same as his and then have to get someitems and can only do a section at a time or until death with those items? There's no just way to do it simpler? Thanks!"insight"
If this tweet is any indication, probably to give the press another work day to play it:Why is the embargo so late? Isnt that usually reserved for games that review really poorly? Bad feeling about how hard BB is gonna be slammed.

I can also tell you Bloodborne will be a review in progress, because we didn't get nearly enough time with it.

Its been like this for every souls game dude. Nothing new. I take it this would be your first "souls" game?

You can't "coop the entire game with your brother", at least not on your first playthrough. You can join him for defeating bosses and then return to your game, or vice versa, but you won't level or get loot together.
Thanks for the info! Maybe we'll just still to the Chalice Dungeon area.

Do we know when reviews are hitting?
I've co-oped the entirety of every souls game... you just have to play every level twice.
It seems GAF is more intrested in the review scores than the game itself. All these overwhelmingly positive early impressions, yet the so many people are concerned. Embargoes that lift on or near release dates are the industry standard, so why is it when Sony does it with Bloodborne and everyone freaks out?
Wrong. It seems GAF is more intrested in the review scores than the game itself.
All I've heard re in the states reviews are going to trickle in later tonight. Frankly I'm taking them all with a "grain of salt"....a bit of caution....
This game has way too much in it, co-op, PVP for anyone to do a real thorough review period. They can elaborate on the gameplay, movement, settings, interface, menus, action, level up system and so-on but I would caution everyone the game is hardly even a day old....more bugs and issues will pop up and so will patches and fixes be coming. Anyone basing a buy or cancel on a handful of day one reviews needs to get a life.

I haven't noticed any big drops yet, and I'm fairly sensitive about that stuff. Playing from disk with day 1 patch?

Ohh, tell me more. As in, how stable is the 30 fps?
I'm fairly sensitive to FPS myself and I want to adjust my expectations accordingly.

Frame rates are the most uninteresting thing to talk about ever.
How is the bloody environment design???

Keep your pre-order, the shipping can get processed over night and in the early morning depending on how close you live to a distribution center. Don't lose out on your CE just because you want to visually see "shipped" in a timely manner. I have day one delivery through Amazon.ca and it's not shipped, but I'm expecting it tomorrow.
ETA to reviews?
