Amouranth says her husband forced her to do hot tub streams, say she was single, threatened to kill her dogs and take all her money

Pointing out the absurdity of some of this threads "skepticism" isn't "White Knighting." It's literally pointing out the absurdity of some of this threads "skepticism." The two positions on this can not just be "I totally believe her and will protect her oh and can I get a discount on a fart jar" and "Cam girl is just doing it for attention. Go back on Pornhub thot!"

So your argument is that the suggestion that this is a hoax - and thus the husband is fine with being FOREVER labeled a domestic abuser at best, a straight up pimp at worst - is believable because the husband is already okay with his wife creating explicit content through the fantasy of "Amouranth." Really? That makes sense to you?

Except you aren't being a true skeptic. A true skeptic would question what they themselves are willing to accept as true or likely and ask wildly obvious questions of that (such as, if this were a hoax how would this benefit the partner, why the partner "half commits" to the bit in their phone conversation, what would be the point of listing someone under a different name if the goal was to attach them to domestic abuse).

The above is a defensible position and not what I would call a "hoax."
damn son you are the true skeptic

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
Girl could straight up leave and start a new account and the users would follow.
She would be back to being a millionaire in a month based on what she makes.
File a report and take him to court and get her money back.
Simple, and if he burns it which I doubt he would.
Well the courts would decide his punishment.

She worked for G4 didn't she..... odd timing.

It makes sense about as much as anything Amouranth. If you are looking for clarity, she's about the last streamer you should be going to.

Maybe she's telling the truth, maybe she isn't. What is sure, is you are white knighting.

Skeptic: One who instinctively or habitually doubts, questions, or disagrees with assertions.

Her assertion is she has an abusive husband. I haven’t taken her side or the supposed partner of hers, so you’re either high on your own supply or trolling. I don’t need to go down any rabbit holes to find a rabbit

He was living the dream. Let your remarkably hot wife parade around on twitch while her teenage simps steal their moms credit card to donate. Sit back and get filthy rich. What’s even left to be mad about? Guy must be an unbelievable idiot to mess that up.
My thoughts exactly

Amouranth is crazy good looking. Making millions each month for both of them.

How can you fuck all up this bad?

This is the most unbelievable part to me. The guy must be the most idiot human on earth.

I'll wait for some proof, 'cause my ex lied about me being abusive, so I always wait.

Sucks if true, and I wish her the best

That Twitter account is likely not his. It's dated a few years ago and the account only has their government records (assuming they are legit) posted on it. Some jealous troll doxxed them pretty much. Probably shouldn't link to these either, but based on the replies the account is getting - it's out in the wild now.

I believe his real account was found, but was already set to private/locked.

I suspected there is a male figure behind her. Usually when you see a "working" woman with insane work ethic, there is someone else (a man) pulling the strings.
Otherwise them hoes wouldn't work that hard, they're not cut for male ambition and total dominace.

About the abuse shit, don't care that much really, let the courts decide.

Can you fake text messages though? Seems like a semi-competent examination would show the messaging account isn't his (presumably the hubby has his own set of texts that would contradict hers) unless the argument is that he uses a totally anonymous messaging system to harass her and a totally legit one to say things like "what would you like for dinner, sweetie?".

Granted, this is a war for the court of public opinion, in which case she is already deep in the hole just for her notoriety. Or she wants to do a rebrand and this is the excuse to do so. If she really doesn't have access to her Amouranth accounts she would presumably need to "get the word out" this way versus an email or video to all her subscribers because he can gatekeep those.

Ohhh, maybe she has been secretly hiding messages in her videos.

"Honey, I need to watch all this girls sexy vids in order to figure out the message and SAVE HER FROM ABUSE!!!"

Genius!

What even is this dumb shit? I really hope this is just a bad troll, because if not... Jesus.

I wonder if she understands "fuck off".

This sounds to me like they've hit a rough patch. HER response is to shame him online by lining him up on call so she sounds clean (with false crying included).

Call it a day - both move on. Job done.

What sort of man marries a camgirl who works by sitting in a pool on Twitch so people can jerk off to her? you have to either be deprived or be insane. He is likely both. And she seems like a person that is a nightmare to be with. So no wonder this is a troubled relationship.

And this girl is not exactly a trusted source. She sits on Twitch, puts on speakerphone, and broadcasts this wild weird rant live? it's so weird. Completely ridicules.

She is also the sort of person that would fake this.

Perhaps I shouldn't say these sorts of things, as it might be true. Although I wouldn't hold my breath.

I don't know why I've seen this more than once. She's not a man. If you literally want to see her box it's out there with a google search.
Are we saying that post op transgender people can't get a real looking box?

I'm not saying I believe that rumour, I'm just wondering how good box surgery is

You can yeah, you can spoof numbers the same way you can emails. Relatively easy to do. Not saying that's what happened but it isn't that hard to do.

I haven’t looked much but if it is a screen capture video it is very hard to make.

A simple still frame is easy to spoof

You can straight up spoof the sender using a CLI spoofing tool. They even have them on ap stores.

Don't need to be a hacker to do it, it's used for scams. You could spoof any number really and message yourself and it would show up as from them. It's super easy and dangerously so unfortunately. You'd have to get the carrier involved to disprove as they could verify but you'd have to be majorly important (IE: government) for it to be worth their time to investigate.

EDIT: Anyone wanting to test it, get one of the aps and spoof your own number and text yourself. You'll be shocked how easy it is.

Texas has amazing stand your ground laws. Especially if your property or animals are threatened.

Just saying, if any of this is true.

Handle your business.

But this doesn't log in a text message with your cell provider, right? So if he has a text log backed up by his cell provider and she has logs with all these "extra" messages in there, seems easy to figure out who is lying. Unless he has a burner phone just to yell at her or something. Which maybe he does.

It's proving you've been wronged dude. A carrier won't verify the veracity of a spoofed call or text without intervention by the law but is notoriously hard to get and takes money and time. I've worked for telecoms companies in the past and also have a background in computing that network protocols were part of. We were taught about spoofing in college as a preventative measure, not malicious as many would go into security protocols.

Point is that it's bloody hard to get proof to prove innocence and even if it was retrieved the damage has been done and people (public opinion) will have long past moved on. There's a ton of red tape to get the info for anyone outside.

They could could expedite it if it's a threat to government security but somehow I don't see this being the case here. That's the unfortunate reality.

EDIT: add to that the fact that most people law/whatever are luddites when it comes to these matters. Not their fault but really not everyone is aware yet it is so easy. I'm not saying either is right, was just pointing out it's feasible it may have happened.

Damn, my statement has all my texts to and from (not the content, just the log). The wife's filled a buncha pages. Maybe I should start archiving them just in case I get wronged in the future :p

Pretty crazy, if true. Sounds kind of like the Gabby Petito case. Behind every cute streamer is a crazy boyfriend/husband.

There's been many examples of this in the streaming/youtube space.

Is it wrong that I have no sympathy for people who take this drama to social media instead of just turning off the camera and hiring a lawyer?

I kinda think the same, she spends most of her time streaming so can kind of understand the cognitive dissonance with all the attention/money she gets so she's probably hooked on the attention yet at the same stage could afford a a break to resolve any personal issues she has. Maybe it's it's a fear of being forgotten or perhaps it's a (dangerously stupid) grift. Nothing is confirmed yet, it's all theories with people backing up both angles.

It's just an absolute mess. Neither angle seems like it will have a happy ending but everyone will just have to wait and see. Apparently (apparently) the cops were out a few times already. Dunno why, just all bizarre.
