I'm liking the new look of the Dallara DW12 chassis. Does anyone know how it compares performance-wise to the previous generation? I've read reports that it might be slightly slower (~220mph) than the previous (~230-240mph).

They're trying to control the speeds, but the main chassis improvement is safety. Guarding the rear wheels cuts back the airborn incidents.

Looks like the cars have mostly held up well in the heat.

Lots of great racing and strategy. It's been a very entertaining Indy. F1 is so boring.
