Does Starfox still hold up? That game was a beast on the N64.

Man the 64 had some all time greats, but after those gems not much else.

I feel like the 64 had maybe 6 or 7 great games total. I also had a Playstation and a PC and frankly the PC dominated that era in my mind.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.

Also I'm sick of the Browns fans overreacting on the radio, fuckers are so dumb apparently Because we traded out of the 4th and 5th for future picks we're tanking the season and the whole offseason is a bust smh.

Seriously? Significant difference here in getting back to the main menu and loading some of the apps up. Some more than others but a definite improvement. Just need some games over here, Ninty!

I don't know what to tell you. I guess I got good at ignoring the load times.

You'll never catch buying any of the 64 games. Mario 64, Ocarina, Starfox, Wave Race 64, Pilotwings. I played the shit out of those to the point i'm sick of even seeing them.

Speaking of overreaction omg booms was raging so hard that you traded with the enemy.. motherfucker you got a better round pick in a better talented draft. I swear the way he was crying we could of given you 2 first for that pick and he'd be pissed still

So where will the next NFL team be. Los Angeles, Toronto or London?

It has to be L.A. It's a joke we don't have a team at this point. The second most populated city in the nation with a ton of NFL fans out here.

Lions fans are an endangered species out here though, but there are tons of hardcore Raider, Charger, 49er and Rams fans out here. If the Raiders were ever to win a SB there would be riots out here that would put the riots after the Lakers won to shame.

Tons of bandwagon, fairweather fans you see courtside at Laker games that give the L.A. fanbase a bad name. This city has a lot of hardcore fans that love there Raiders, Dodgers and Lakers.

EDIT: I think Portland also deserves a team before Toronto and London, IMO. Great fans up there going by there support of the Trailblazer and the Ducks v. Beavers rivalry.

His rants are really dumb sometimes, and I grow kind of tired of it at times. The other day he tried to claim Left tackles/lineman weren't that important to the franchise. Here he is if you've never seen him before, put a face to the rants
I'm also really sick of Grossi

The Rams moving back to LA.

Or the Jaguars.

I'd prefer the Rams since most people in St. Louis aren't even aware that they have an NFL team from what I've seen. Loads of Cardinals and even Blues fans though.

Baseball town. Like they say, best fans in the sport.

As far as football, it seems like a joke. GB was a road game last year and CHI will be the same this year. Can't keep national teams out of your stadium, don't deserve a team

edit: I read that earlier. If Ben gets hurt again this year, and misses multiple games, then they have to look at doing something. Just a lot of miles and Toradol in his legs. But no way is Landry that guy. Best role is a backup, even if they replace Ben

Why does everyone think the people of LA want an NFL team? When Houston was finally awarded a franchise in 1999 LA was handed the franchise but no one there could get their shit together. McNair (Texans owner) finally told the NFL here is my $700 million in credit that expires at midnight, either take it or leave it. What was the attendance like for Raiders and Rams games? I don't have numbers but I remember watching games where the stadium was half empty.

To hell with LA. I do think the Jags will move to LA or London within 5 years and the Bills making the move to Toronto permanent.

That's true but man those games were all legendary. Wave Race, Mario, Zelda...

Fuck! Already running out of games!

I had a PC and PSX then too. Good times!

For the most part I agree with you. But I might get the 3DS Ocarina and Star Fox from the bargain bin in a few years. But yeah I generally don't to replay old games. Only make an exception for some 16 bit gems!

I'd say the Bucs or Chargers would move before the Jags if going by ticket sales and enthusiasm.

I think Tampa has a pretty locked in lease, and the Chargers' owner doesn't want to move. He's been year to year there for almost a decade. I'm sure he's salty. They built a stadium for the Padres but not his team

I'd be floored if Jones was the starter in two years. FLOORED. Ben is roughly the same age as Eli. More wear and tear but generally you could consider the guy in the prime of his career right now.

Yeah, it's Florio so take it with a grain of salt, but it would be interesting if they decided to bail on Roethlisraper to save some money.

Lets be honest, Raider games have just as much attendance now in Oakland as they did back then. And I've already said that the Rams are in a lousy state as it is. So what would be the harm in moving either or even both back to LA?

I just don't think people in LA give a damn about the NFL. the Dodgers have a history that maintains them and the Lakers are more of a "place to be seen".

NFL needs to fix division alignment first. Cowboys to NFC South and Panthers to the east. Colts to AFC north, Ravens to the AFC east and Miami to the south. Oh and after this year no more cold weather Superbowls. Glad we don't have a chance because it will be a historic disaster.

Can't do that. People will cry bloody murder, due to the history or whatever.

You can't kick the Cowboys out of the NFC East. The NFCE divisional games consistently get the highest ratings every year. Too much history, hatred, and great match ups.

I don't understand why people undervalue the rivalries that teams have for the sake of geographical correctness.

The division rivalries are a huge part of what makes the NFL so great!

Ben takes a pretty good beating every year. I don't him being a guy playing QB at 40. I also don't see Jones taking over for him in the next two years. Five? Maybe. It'll take that long to convince anyone that Jones is capable of replacing him though (like the Pats are handling Mallett).

Well, it's always fans of teams that don't have real rivalries...

Fuck you and the Titans. Its more of a hatred for Dallas than anything else. I enjoy seeing the Giants, Eagles and Redskins play every so often but the Cowboys get stuffed down our damn throats constantly.

Texans are slowly developing some rivalries: Titans for natural reasons, Colts (if not for being Mannings bitch for our first 10 years of existence) and the Ravens since we seem to play them pretty regularly.

I don't think you guys understand b/c you root for teams with lots of history. The Colts went to the playoffs 10 years in a row, bottomed out, and got just the one Thursday night game. No matter how bad the NFCE and NFCN teams are, they will get their usual MNF game or games.

The NFL basically used the AFCS and the NFCW as dumping grounds for teams that wouldn't fit. It's hard to cultivate tradition when there isn't any historical or geographic rivalry. You can see it with SF and SEA finally being good. That's a heated rivalry very quickly b/c of the geography of it

I used to hate Seattle, but not as much as KC and Oakland. Especially KC, because they were good when we were good in the late 90s. Everyone still hates the Raiders out of tradition, but the rivalries have been dead lately due to the AFC West putting up bad teams pretty consistently.

I think you can move teams around, but it has to be the team with weaker rivalries within the division. Such as a SD.

But where do you move SD? Change conferences? Doesn't solve anything.

Also most fans here didn't get shafted from their team by leaving. Nothing is more demoralizing than your team moving away. I know people who actively support the Titans because they used to be the Oilers, to hell with that nonsense.

Most posters here don't remember the Colts leaving Baltimore and the impact it had on the fans like the Browns leaving did. The Rams left and LA said "meh" same as the Cardinals leaving St Louis but the Cards were bad for YEARS so no one really cared.

I know it sucks, but just because your fanbase got the shaft doesn't mean it's suddenly a good idea for other fanbases to get the shaft.

I mean, look, it'd be hilarious if Dallas got moved and lost all their rivals. But it'd also be really stupid. Can't do it! Won't do it!

The AFC South is a pretty poor division. I feel like it's been basically a decade of Colts envy and that's about it. It doesn't help that the Titans and Jaguars are bottom tier franchises in my book.

The Rams would make sense if they were still in LA. I think that rivalry would be vastly improved in that situation. The NFC South actually feels the least solid out of the NFC.

Yep. Still don't understand why there hasn't been a team here in L.A. either. I think out of all the teams that were given as possibilities it'll probably be the Chargers. One Broncos game a year here in L.A. would be pretty sweet.

Also what the hell is Donovan McNabb smoking. Elway would never bring Tebow back.

No one in Tampa cares, but NO and ATL is pretty good. Not sure about CAR. May be too much of a transplant city to really love the local team

A Dallas rivalry with New Orleans would flourish in a couple years since they are so close regionally. Same with Colts/Steelers, Ravens/Patriots, Dolphins/Jags. The league doesn't really give too much a damn about history the way they have messed with the game itself lately. You gave special consideration to one team which shouldn't have happened.

No, you don't eff with tradition when sports are concerned. Just a bad plan all around.

The league seems to be doing stupid stuff lately, but it's less to do with not caring about history and more about caring about money. Breaking up the NFC East doesn't help them make money.

Also, :lol at breaking up the Steelers/Ravens rivalry.

Killing 50+ years of established history/tradition and one of the biggest ratings getter the NFL has in the Cowboys rivalries in the East. Not happening and that's being pleasant.
