OG Xbox is an extremely good-looking box, but it's hard to beat the Series X.

I have
Xbox One (black)
Xbox One S Gears 4 Limited Edition (red)
Xbox One X Gears 5 Limited Edition (greyish)
Xbox Series X (black)

Out of these, Series X is the most beautiful one, but the red One S with the locust scratch marks is a real looker, too. The grey One X with its crumbling ice pattern as well "unfortunately", which is why I'll never sell any of them.

They're all pretty good. But my current favorite is the Series X for the functionality and simplicity while the One X is quite nice as well. I love the new gen in that they're all so quiet! Seriously I never want to hear a jet engine fan blaring again in my life. I like the potential of the 360 style and eventual variants but I was soured by the RRoD a few times sadly so it has been lowered for me.

The 360 E is the best looking Xbox. I like the look of the One X but it’s kind of boring, and the Series consoles are a snooze.

Og 360 was the best followed by the first 360 slim revision, and the og Xbox.

Everything afterwards are just boring/safe/cookie cutter. (Edit: Other than the One X)

Not surprised that their more recent (uninspired) designs have correlated with their lackluster offerings.

I don't have issues with any of the Xbox designs. I think the Xbox One X (was very close to picking it) and the Xbox Series S are really nice designs. They're simple, clean and take up less space, but the Series X gets my vote. I love that MS went away from the traditional flat, rectangular design. The engineering and form factor is top notch.

Didn't it have a warning in the manual that it could cause injury if it fell on a child?

It was one hell of a console but series X is a better looker though 360 trumps both imo.

Holy shit I remember that. The controllers had a quick detach a few inches off the actual plug that would break away if you tripped on the cord, so it wouldn't rip the console off the shelf. Kind of brilliant really.

OG Xbox doesn’t really hold up well against most of the Xbox lineup. Although it’s not bad looking by any means.

I am often unsure of what that reaction is supposed to mean. I think people try to use it as an insult "your post reveals that you are triggered by this news story, haha" but at least half the time it's added to a fairly reasonable post, so I wonder if it's "I am triggered by what you've said"

Definitely go with the OG, it actually had some character. The 360 had character, too. After that, they just went with plain boxes that look like an exec designed it. Also the exact same time their sales started declining. Hmm...
