Not great for playstation console owners and ultimately Sony in the long run imo.
If the images that leaked a while back are real, Returnal and Sackboy are next. Demon’s Soul, The Last of Us and Ghost of Tsushima will probably come up too.Returnal incoming
Man, this goalpost is gonna move so much in the near future. So Sony putting about 20% of their games on PC years after release
3.5 games if you want to be really picky4 more before end of year actually.
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morale
- UNCHARTED™ 4: A Thief’s End
- UNCHARTED™: The Lost Legacy
The majority of new PC integrated GPUs from Intel such as Xe are improving while AMD PC APUs includes RDNA 2 base IGP. Consoles are less needed when the PC improves DRM and baseline integrated GPUs.This aiant the Sony I once knew
Well people in here thinks the same about Microsoft and Activision so it seems to be the logical norm in here. Why would they move away from selling literally every single $500 console they can produce and taking a 20% cut of all game sales on it?
How?we should really be blaming MS for this PC integration crap, Sony just followed suit. The 360 is going to be their last unique console
After releasing some of its major IPs on PC, Sony has finally established a new page on the PlayStation‘s website solely for its games for PC. This isn’t surprising since the console manufacturer is already fully invested in porting its exclusive franchises to PC, a move that not only opens the games to a broader range of audiences but also helps Sony sell more blockbusters cross-platform, allowing the entertainment giant to bank on the already stellar list of money makers.
The PC page has listed games like God of War, Days Gone, and Horizon Zero Dawn, all of which are currently available on PC, however, the “Coming Soon” tab, which as the name gives away, reveals all the PlayStation-exclusive games that will soon be making their way onto PC. The section mentions three upcoming games: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection. We already knew about Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered coming to PC for a while now and it’s great to see the newer Miles Morales game on its way too.
As per the information listed on the PlayStation PC page, the additional Spider-Man release will make its PC debut in “Fall 2022,” which isn’t that distant. A major boost for PC PlayStation fans, the new games will give some much-needed diversity to the portfolio of games, allowing players to tackle more grounded plot-points and character arcs. The third Sony game coming to PC is the Uncharted Legacy: of Thieves Collection which comprises the remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy bundled together. Sony hasn’t shared any release window or date for this one, as the page simply says, “Coming to PC 2022.”
Judgment series
Im not interested in any of spiderman or uncharted. Give me DeS and bbK now give me Demon Souls, Bloodborne remastered, Judgment series so I can double dip my balls into them.
already played it but would be nice to play it at 4k 60fps or even 120fps and turn that nasty CA offGrace the PC plebs with Bloodborne!
It is time.
There's multiple things wrong with this statement.Sony also has PSNOW a streaming service
Grace everyone with 60+fps and perfect IQ Bloodborne!Grace the PC plebs with Bloodborne!
It is time.
Screw that. Grace PS5 players with Bloodborne that runs like a modern game.Grace the PC plebs with Bloodborne!
It is time.
console manufacturer is already fully invested in porting its exclusive franchises to PC
Bloodborne needs some of that volumetric fog and lighthing from returnal too.Grace everyone with 60+fps and perfect IQ Bloodborne!
It is time.
That fog is some of, if not the best I've seen in a game. You see zero artifacts or mesh edges.Bloodborne needs some of that volumetric fog and lighthing from returnal too.
It's not port, but decent definitive version begging.Damn, already turned into another port begging thread.
The page is pretty useless, it just tells you to get them on Steam or Epic store.
God of War Remake?pretty stupid business decision but as a 3080 owner, i hope to see GOW and TLOU remake day one on PC or soon after like they said for TLOU. I see no reason to stay in the PS ecosystem anymore
pretty stupid business decision
It is on the site. Coming 2022.Almost the one year anniversary in a couple of weeks since Uncharted pc port was announced and its not eeven on the site lol
Good news, it's about time Sony started to realize that PC is a major market of games players, and the potential negative effect of people not buying PS5's is vastly overblown. PC primary players aren't buying PS5 consoles en masse just for the exclusives, and the ones that were were only buying exclusives, so the benefit of having them in the ecosystem is the same as if they simply bought them on PC. This way it allows way more people to buy the games, which leads to bigger revenue, and larger word-of-mouth by people talking about the games. The only people who this negatively affects are the people who think a game is better by being "only on Playstation", and those people shouldn't be of concern to any rational person.
And before anybody says anything, I'm a primary console gamer, I already have a PS5, and this probably won't affect me buying a PS6, I'm just glad that there could be more options for playing some of these great games.
Dark Souls
