Possibly because technically it's a different SKU. The version on the EU/US PSN was the Dual Shock DC version with the infamous clown fart music. This SKU is the standard Director's Cut.
But on that note, I own the US version of Tekken 2 and it's not letting me download it, so something's up.

Too bad there’s no Suikoden or MGS on that list. No Persona or Shin Megami Tensei games.
Also no Star Ocean 2, but the psp port of Star Ocean first departure is on there.
Pretty decent classic but I was hoping they would put the PS2 remake Wild Arms: Alter Code F and Wild Arms 2.

The first game is the normal US 60hz PSX version and even has trophies. Ape Escape 2 is the PAL release (because UbiSoft published it in NA) and is glitchy as hell on the PS4/PS5. You'd think your GPU is dying while playing it. They still haven't fixed it.

The problem I think is that RE DC isn't available for purchase, it's ONLY on PS+. The games that are available for purchase (Syphon Filter, Ape Escape, Jumping Flash, etc) would theoretically allow you to download your purchased copy.

The classics section has:
24 PS2 games (all previously available on PS4/PS5)

Gravity Rush and Wipeout 2048 are Vita games.
They are included there remastered/remade in Gravity Rush an Wipeout Omega Collection.
And there also many remastered/remade PSP (plus PS1 or PS2) games more there, like the Patapon or Loco Roco series to name a few.
We were promised over 400 classic games from pre PS4 platforms. In the list there are 450 and they will keep adding every month.

Gravity Rush Remastered and Wipeout Omega Collection are PS4 games.
They're not emulated Vita games. It's like claiming TLOU Remastered is there as the PS3 game, which is actually what they did by putting PS4 remasters of PS3 games into the Premium tier.

It is a tradeoff:
For a lower Framerate you got a much better image quality in return. Higher resolution, much better colors. Just look at old NTSC recordings and you see how bad it looked.
For movies 50hz it was also better, because it was very close to the 24fps of movies.
The TVs sold in Europe still can display 50Hz since the content broadcasted here is still 50hz. I assume the american flat TVs can do the same.
The PS5 can output a 50fps signal, it does so for PAL DVDs. Sony should change the emulator that it also outputs an 50fps signal and these games would be butter smooth without other major changes.

i had PS Now for a year. U can't fool me. This is just PS Now again lol. They just jumbled up where things are to make it look different. This is maybe 90% of the same exact library that was already available to ppl for the last 2 years.

I too am like where the fuck is Alundra???No Vagrant Story, Alundra, Vandal Hearts, Front Mission 3 or a bunch of other classics I'd happily buy and replay again, hopefully they are added in time, preferably with trophy support though I won't hold my breath for that feature outside of 1st party stuff. Still, the service is promising and the future is bright

fudge. i can already see a possible problem. In collection there was a tab to filter out PS Now games. Because if u played Disney's Brave or whatever on PS Now it would automatically put it in ur library. Even if u played it for 2 seconds 3 years ago (not saying i did).

I stacked PS Plus a long time ago all the way to 2026 for cheap, and apparently if I upgrade to premium, it only costs $150 to apply to that entire duration. Huh.

With the exception of Demon's Souls and maybe a few more, they included all the PS4/PS5 versions of (independently if emulated, remastered or remade) PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP and Vita titles under the "Classics games" section.
This includes Gravity Rush Remastered (remaster of a Vita game), Wipeoput Omega collection (remake of PSP and Vita games) or The Last of Us Remastered (remaster of a PS3 game).
So with maybe a few exceptions, for PS+ "Game Catalog" are games originally released for PS4 or PS5 and "Classics Catalog" are games originally released for PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP and Vita. Some of them using an emulator, some of them remastered, some of them remade and some (non-remastered/remade) PS3 games in the cloud only.

welp for $48 it wouldn't kill me to upgrade. But believe u me this is PS Now. I can't believe this fckery tbh. The whole purpose of 360 games on Xbox series is to download them and they run faster and look better and u can buy the disc.

...hopefully timed to picking up a PS5, though I guess most of the options are still there for PS4. So I guess I'll get it for PS4 for the time being.

Yeah, this is effed. Paid for essential for a year last month waiting for this to roll out. If I upgrade today I would have to pay the whole new price to upgrade. Not even the difference. So $100 for Extra and $120 for Premium…for 348 days lol

I stacked years when it first launched. Sony were giving away free one month codes that stacked (Thanks Wario). Early on there were also really good Black Friday deals (half off). Sony Rewards also had a deal for signing up for their credit card that gave you a year free and $50 or $100 PSN credit for your first card purchase on the Store. I bought $10 worth of PSN funds for that. Most recently, CDKeys offered 1 years subs for $25.00.

Did your license transfer for Echochrome?
I got Wild Arms, Siphon Filter, and Oddworld showing free since I had them before, but Echochrome is not though I definitely own that on PSP. Wondering if PSP licenses don't transfer? A shame, I was looking forward to play it again, but not dropping $10 to do so.
