I really don't get all this negativity about PlayStation games going to the pc.

Chances are, your going to have to wait on PC the majority of time for sony games to show up, sometimes over a year to play said exclusive games.
By the time the game has gone to PC, most of the people that wanted to play it have and moved on to the next game, why are you wanting to stop other people from playing sony's masterpieces?

People on PC are still going to have to pay full price when it gets to them, that's more money for Sony.
More money for sony means they can invest in more studios, making more of the games we love to play

Does some guy on PC really affect you a year after you have finished God of war, uninstalled it and moved on to something new?

They are still PlayStation games, under the logo, they are not valves, Xbox or Nintendo....

MS not need to sell console hardware. Sony have to. Again from a customer perspective is great play ps games on PC. But I'm not that sure it's a brilliant move for the future of next consoles not have no more exclusives to count.

The day MS announced Xbox games will be on PC, it's the day I sold my Xbox one back then. And the same applied for the playstation 5 after owning one for few month and the hype wore off. I can wait couple of years to play the game on PC if this means
- hardware wise, 1 system to rule them all instead of having few them . In this case it's the PC.
- not to worry about backward compatibility issues ever
- software wise, all games to own under 1 platform.
- will always perform better than any console . The more advanced hardware you have the better.
- community mods in some games if needed.

Honestly it's not even close at this point. If you can save some money to own a PC. Its more than enough.

Hell you can even play switch games 4k 60 frames on PC. Just buy the game and dump it.

Nintendo is insanely backwards in terms of some of their decisions so it's not a surprise. . Hell, I'd argue that until fairly recently, Japanese developers in general were wary about putting games on the PC platform.

Giving preference to their own platform and ecosystem is a valid reason not to release day one on PC. I hope they get to day one releases on PC (along with trophy support), but I can certainly understand why they would want to favor their own platform first.

Sony is not paying for priority chips. Sony is buying 7nm chips.
The one who is buying top end node is Apple, who bought all of TSMC's 5nm production in 2020.
Sony might start buying 6nm chips soon. But this is at a time when TSMC is transitioning to 3nm, again with Apple being the main buyer. Intel has also bought some part of the 3nm production allocation.
