Kinda underwhelmed that OP couldn't spell Ragnarok properly in the title of this thread. Jokes aside yes as someone who's a diehard fan of God of War since 2005, the God of War Ragnarok Debut trailer did feel underwhelming visually. This is probably because God Of War 2018 already looked so good, it's not going to top those visuals with cross-gen game development by a big margin. For me the reason why I am excited for Ragnarok is to see how the story plays out, how are the enemy encounters going to be, what sort of additions are going to be there to the combat, will be there more newer combat animations. These are things I will be focusing on and these are literally the things I've focused across every God of War game.
The thing is while Naughty Dog managed to progress graphically from Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 3 across a single console generation, Sony Santa Monica gave an Uncharted3 (graphically speaking) in their very first game on the PS4 via God of War 2018. The latest Spider-Man game if its indeed an exclusive as it's been mentioned, that and Wolverine could end up being a graphical powerhouse.
