Just to recap and cash in the receipts so that we can maybe heal some of the drama on here. What critics were pointing out turned out to be largely correct.
- A solid expansion to a beloved game is launching today. This should be an easy win for Sony, an A+ day.
- The PS5 upgrade is very minimal, and is a lot less than other free upgrades we've gotten regularly from first and third party publishers.
The people that just tried to point out that this $10 charge is not great for the consumer were correct. Really everyone should have just been in agreement on that point, regardless if you like the game or not. We're discussing the PS5 upgrade path exclusively, which could represent the path forward on other upcoming first party titles.
