Yeah but the rez difference can be considered marginal because you are taking the lowest possible rez when it is said to rarely reach it on both platforms.

I feel like to some warring prevail facts, some of us just want to enjoy and play games like most gamers do and honestly even if the ps5 had 15% higher rez then what?Does it really changes the game ?
I can understand those videos when there real problems like drops or stutters which may dampen the experience of playing a game but other than that just be happy to play your game on ps5, xsx or xss but gloating about a superficial superiority is pointless.

Depends...
In Performance mode the minimum has a 10% difference in resolution while the framerate is a 5% difference.
So mostly like with the same resolution Series X will drop a bit more in the mininum.

PS5 has a higher average of resolution in both Performance and Fidelity mode.
XSX has higher frame-rate average in Performance mode while being equal in Fidelity mode.
What you're doing is ignoring one mode while focusing on the other. I wouldn't call cherry picking after reading your post.

People are laughing because many people thought this game would be 1080p in performance mode and the PS5 couldn't handle it. PS lacks in average frame-rate and XB lacks in average resolution. PS5 comes out in top in Graphics mode. Consider it even, but still doesn't negate what was posted in the other thread.Physiognomonics

Actually the PS5 could still have the edge according to those stats. PS5 has a 20% higher min res and XSX has as 5% higher min framerate. But it really depends of the causes of those minimums.

PS5 is a beast at $399! I may grab one at some point. Series consoles are both too expensive for their capabilities while the PS5 exists at its price points.
If you don't have a gaming PC and you're way into Bethesda then the X isn't a bad choice at its price point, tbh.

I said it was likely not a result of the PS hardware that the Tony Hawk version is 1080p and people disagreed and blamed the weaker GPU and variable clock frequency. I stopped replying and just waited until DF or VG Tech pulled out their results and now i'm just laughing.
This reminds me how Assassins Creed turned out late last year.

And it's not like PS5 isn't holding frame rates well lol. It's 99.8% vs 99.9%. From "tower of power" and "30% more powerful", if someone is looking at 0.09% frame rate advantage as a win, that's a new low.
I don't know why they can't accept that both these machines are pretty much the same, and performance will vary game by game. 10 = 12. Deal with it.

And now you see Xbox fans do the same so basically we can conclude that as of now, the two are pretty much on par with each other in terms of performance and power.
We will probably continue to see this until cross gen is eliminated and then the comparison videos will get interesting. Not this last gen / BC mode games comparison because they are just running last gen codes mostly and not taking advantage of the new hardware.
