Leaked off-screen trailer of Elden Ring is legit - but no one has a link

I would join the choir saying it looks like Darksouls but... there is way too much flat land to be a Souls game, monsters do look like soul's monsters but i low key hope that the open world it's not just a bunch of flat and empty terrain connecting buildings that play like any other souls game area.

Cannot fucking wait to bury myself ass deep in the lore for this.

what are the giants? What are they pulling? What’s with the giant head? Statue or corpse? Sea of fog? Rift lands?

And that combat looks to combo DS and BB.

Im hyped for this game but one thing disappointed me is the confirmation that there is no cities or npc, so its basically a game where you fight monsters and explore dead areas. When they said its going to be open world rpg, i thought it will have big city and villages and npcs to interact with and take quests and change the world..etc..etc. I also thought it will feature gameplay aspects other than just combat/fighting. But whatever im still hyped.

Sekiro is my least played from game. It is still a good game, but after i finished it I had no reason to replay it.
Yeah sure, i was merely talking about gameplay, the game is less replayable than other souls games.

but tbh, i don't really replay other souls titles that much neither.

What's with people loving bloodborne? Game looked like an early PS3 game, runs like shit and seems like any generic rpg.
Has great combat, great exploration, great lore and great atmosphere. Also great designs in weapons, clothes, monsters, bosses... Great music and a great DLC.

It's a cool game, even if it ran at 30fps with dips.

Open world rpg they said? So I want npcs to have daily day and night cycle complex routines and I want to have meaningful interactions and conversations with every single one of them or this game is 1/10.

Also I want to sit on every bench and I want outcome changing decisions in every line of dialogue.

Let's wait and see.

HD towns still hard for J devs huh.

screw the consoles. this is a fromsoftware thread, and its fair to say Bloodborne isn't better than Dark Souls.
I think they are both great, couldn't decide which one is better.

Maybe DS, but that's the first From game I played so I might be biased.

He did not write the story, he wrote the mythology of the world. Miyazaki literally stated in an interview that Martin's contribution was basically a Dungeon Master's Guide to the world of Elden Ring. Man, the people who have never read the interview make themselves really obvious.

Here's an article where it says Martin wrote the mythology, with Fromsoft doing the story, and says Martin basucally wrote a Dungeon Master's guide for the world: https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/0...volution-of-dark-souls-says-creator-a-e3-2019

So no, Martin's only infamously late because he puts side projects like Elden Ring over finishing Winds of Winter, becuase he no longer cares about A Song of Ice and Fire.
Oh i'm sorry i don't follow every sliver of info on a game that didn't show me anything to make interested in following it, IMO when you begin your announcement trailer with "a new world by Hidetaka Miyazaki and GRRM" you're basically telling the guy's involved in it's story.

So you are saying the videos that are pretty much confirmed by those journos to be real gameplay are fake?
Okay..
No, I simply said the video leaked was too blurry and like 10 seconds long that shows something or someone on a horses slashing something, my whole point is that i'm fascinated by the utter madness people have for a game that they have only truly seen one gameplay-less video of and a highly blurry leaked video that shows basically nothing and just lose their shit over it because it's made by From (who people actually think they've made nothing but gold all their existence IE 2009 to some) and is directed by Miyazaki.

It's going to be funny if the actual game is the opposite of the fantasies some people have made up in their minds about it.

I think the horse stuff might take away the constant fear of enemies jumping out at you and one hitting you so I'm hyped but I have concerns.

From software games are special though so I would pre order right now if I could.

Demon's Souls on PS4 should be out before this one. Maybe end of the year.
We have at least a year and a half before ER is out :/ i guess

There will be no towns or settlements populated by non-enemy characters, Miyazaki never said anything about a lack of NPCs. I'm sure there will be more than enough of those with secrets and complex questlines, as always in his games but taken to the next level.

I prefer it that way. A highly populated world with lots of NPCs will go against the typical souls atmosphere of bleak and despair.

So we have 2/3 of a trailer in 240p cam-rip quality. I say this is an amazing progress for today considering absolute nothingness for the past 2 years.
