Bought myself a new laptop and it's decent enough to actually run some games. Downloaded Steam and made sure the first game I got was DUSK. Hope the Switch port is good!

The clash of the different fidelity of styles isn't even the worst part. The worst part is easily that the scrolling isn't smooth but stutters, it becomes very noticable if you're playing with your Switch docked on a big screen. It's a bit less noticable on the Switch screen but still noticable. Very low effort ports, sadly. I would've loved if they'd taken the SNES remakes and mixed them with the orchestral versions of the soundtracks (as an option!) and maybe some other (optional) improvements, like autosave or something. You know, like giving those games a bit of the "Sega Ages"-treatment that M2 have given their ports.

I would have been perfectly fine with just NES ports at the price they were listed. It just looked so awful. Glad I skipped it, if that isn't even the only problem.

Question about Paper Mario, visually it looks amazing but not a big fan of puzzle type RTS but is this still a fun game?
I want to get it but a bit hesitant.

As someone who hates puzzles I am loving it just for the humor and charm. I found myself cracking up at lot of the interacting between the characters. Though the battles can get frustrating. OST is great

It‘a not a RTS game, more like a feel good adventure game. In some way it gives me Monkey Island vibes. I enjoy it and I thought I will not (just bought it since there‘s no alternative from Nintendo).

) will be saved for a general or first party Direct, if these partner showcases are Third Party only. . Bravely Default 2(was supposed to show last week according to one leaker) will likely appear in one, and No More Heroes 3

My wife will not be allowing me to get this for two main reasons.
- She really fucking hates Queen (she has terrible taste, as proven by her decision to marry me)
- Queen songs are really fucking hard to sing (Freddie's range was ridiculous)
I can see a lot of people discovering that their singing sucks.

I've only played Prime 1 (and didn't finish), I really need the Trilogy to come to Switch because i've wanted to get around to playing the series for a while. Also, much like with EarthBound, the hype from the fans has gotten me excited about it.
They put it on the Wii U eShop so i'm hopeful it'll come eventually but I'm not entirely sure they'll bring it over..

Lollipop chainsaw was ridiculous fun, not really into beatemup types of games but that one had me laughing my head off. The soundtrack was great, activating the hey mickey rampage was too fun. So was one of the zombies screaming i want to fuck your dad as you went through the level i cracked up when i heard that.
Really would be nice to see that one again on any console.

Totally worth tracking down a copy probably gonna be dirt cheap too, the voicework & writing for this game is just total lowbrow crass fun. So many ways to off zombies too it's a bit like viewtiful joe in how you go around stunning the zombies first so you can then finish them off with a sparkle finisher for massive medals. Shame it seemed to come and go without much fanfare it's got a unique look and feel compared to other games.

Maybe Nintendo is already in full Switch 2 mode and thats why we won't hear of them for awhile, they always do this with their consoles, short cycles rush rush, last year of Switch lifespan will be ports ,Smash dlc and some third party releases.
Like the 3D mario team is working on Odyssey 2 for Switch 2, Splatoon 3 next gen, i can see it 2021 REVEAL: Mario Odyssey 2, BoTW 2 (cross gen but heavely advertised as a Switch 2 game), Splatoon 3, Mario x Rabbids 2,Pikmin 4,Metroid prime 4 trailer, Bayonetta 3 (cross gen but switch version runs at 25fps) new Kirby (maybe cross gen)Metroid V,Smash Ultimatum will be revealed at a later date.
