Nah lets be honest here, its a first party Sony exclusive, fanboys will proclaim it an amazing game, no matter how bad it really is.
And in all seriousness, i dont actually take solice from that, even though they annoy the fuck out of me on here. I thought the first game was great. It was one of the last console games i played before going PC only. It is a shame to see politics and wokeness infest the game like the disease the game portrays. One day the masses will get fed up with this shit, and it will end.

Yet instead of killing Joel quickly she makes him suffer through all of it. She probably would've kept going if she wasn't stop and told to hurry it up. Doesn't sound very honorable to me. I mean, Abby basically blew off his kneecap with a shotgun at almost pointblank range. Had folks tourniquet it, and then beat the ever living shit out of him, rather than just doing it. Sure, revenge, blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda. But doing that only to have the other person watch and do nothing with them other than knocking them out seems really stupid. They still know what you did, who you are, who your crew is, and whatever else is discussed.

I LOVE revenge plots in entertainment, I really do. But this one just feels lazy to me.

The sex scene is cringey as hell. The expressions, animations and flow is comically unnatural.
Just look at those thrusts! There is reason developers usually do fade away to black or more obscured views.

I know you're gonna hate it but I'm watching CohhCarnage's steam now and the rest of the game is not that bad. The ingame world is highly polished, the graphics are absolutely stunning and the gameplay and exploration are pretty solid too. I wish they focused more on interesting survival scenarios rather than on a silly teenage drama.

You get the heartwarming story of one girls pointless quest for revenge stopped at the last second by her father figure who has risen in her heart to tell her *Yeah, technically we are way past this and there's like a million brutally murdered enemies behind you and there's no reason why an apparation of me in your mind would even stop you, but ahhh don't do it*.

Be amazed by moral dilemmas like you being forced to QTE-Kill a dog which we will make you feel bad afterwards in a FLASHBACK. Experience the unexpected when you get to play as the Villian. 200 pounds of pure feminine muscles, your heart will jump when you see her getting railed in the back while you have a full frontal view of her impressive, non-existing bust. All this framed in the deepest and most subtle symbolism mankind has seen. Watch as your WORLD WILL BREAK DOWN as the female lead can't play her guitar anymore.

Nothing to do with hate. It's deliberately misleading your customers. People that have stayed spoiler free have my sympathies.

There's no denying that the game will surely have some beautiful visuals, and cool tidbits. It's just like the last time, but this time with some improvements here and there. It just sucks that the story and writing itself sounds much poorer.

I have to agree that killing Joel was an extremely tacky, manipulative narrative choice that puts into relief many serious shortcomings of the writing team. If they wanted me to recognize this game as high art they should have simply murdered another child.

Actually if you check the totally fair and objective metacritic reviews you'll find that The Last of Us Part II features--direct quote--"
possibly the best stealth-action gameplay realized to date", and therefore surpasses the trifling efforts of Kojima and his inferior Metal Gear series.

Joel was one of the biggest and best chads in gaming, able to smell a trap a mile away. Nerfing his intelligence and killing him off like that was such a cuck move by Neil, it's such a turn off for this game, but mind you, not the only turn off. I was really interested in playing it last year but after all the leaks, nah I'm good. Bring me that Cyberpunk in November. I got a feeling at the end of the year when all those GotY awards get handed out, there's gonna be a big divide between what critics and actual gamers think is the best game this year.

This game is about the story, if the story sucks theres no point in playing it.

Yeah the graphics are good but who gives a shit.

I'm no survival expert, but watching the full clip of Joel and Tommy getting nailed by Abby and crew was a laugh.

You got a supposed twosome of veteran survivalists who trust nobody, kills 1000s of bandits and zombies over the years, yet meet a group of maybe 8 random thugs and the first thing you do is tell info and stand in the middle of a room surrounded by them.

LOL

That's one way to move a story along.

It's all about context man! Anime titties are just for the male gaze, it brings nothing to the game, they objectify (non existing 2D) women!
And the scene in TLoU 2 is to show Abbies struggle in the postapocaluptic world. The pain (s)he feels while getting it raw shows to us how narrowminded and bigoted we all are.
