If that were me I'd just be so mad I don't know what I'd do. Maybe leak massive spoilers about the game to ruin it for all the marks and pressure the company into taking a different direction or something.

I don't get the point of actually showing that much of the scene, other than having an agenda. You could easily just fade to black once they start kissing and absolutely everyone would get the point. I know there are ratings and all that but you know how many kids are going to have this game bought for them regardless? Of course then you have the rest of the content which ain't too kid friendly either ...

I kinda feel like it's a sad day for gaming in a way. I grew up on these things because they filled my mind with a sense of adventure, captured my imagination and felt endlessly creative to me. Now we have a game that is literal nihilistic torture porn, in every sense, and it seems like the industry is standing up and cheering. They should all be embarrassed.

Man, CohhCarnage is still streaming right now. He's at the point where it introduces high grass into the gameplay. He just straight up crouch walked up to AI without them noticing anything and stealth killed them. Loud noises, moving grass, and all. This is on the hardest difficulty, lmao. The AI looks just as stupid as the last game, hahaha.

I'm sorry, I think you're confused. The Last of Us II actually features some of the best stealth action gameplay realized to date.

Lmao. Honestly I really was expecting more of the same. But you'd think they'd improve on the AI. I still can't believe people praised the AI in the original game. "Play it on a higher difficulty! It's the only way!"

SkillUp straight up said the AI is on par with GR Breakpoint (with footage) and that game was a hot pile of shit.

What else strikes me as funny about that whole setup for the "love scene" is that it's basically the same situation as this one in Cheers ...



But Cheers was, you know ... a comedy. And it knew it, and it knew this whole kind of setup was absurd (hence why we laugh). Naughty Dog seriously thought their version wasn't ridiculous?

I couldn't believe the whole Ellie getting her fingers bit off was genuine, just too outlandish! I watched it today and it's like something out of Monty Python! I couldn't stop laughing. It comes across being so corny.
Ellie looking down at her fingerless stumps not being able to play the song Joel taught her, being the last thing she had left! I was pissing myself. Can't believe the writers thought this would come across as some deep metaphor for everything she had lost in her quest for REVENGE. It really is low grade fanfiction.
